Many great illusions and photos too. The motifs in this book still fill the bookshelves. Highly recommended.
This book was a bit of a stretch for me. I usually like novels but I decided to try something different with this one. Even though it was an easy read, I was not very impressed with this book. It was fun to read the stories but there was never enough information given to satisfy my curiosity. If you're looking for a fast read to fill some time then this is a book for you. Don't expect to get pulled into the book though because it's not that kind of book.
A book full of unexplained mysteries. Each page contains little factoids and pictures describing mysteries that have happened in the past. Most of these mysteries are labeled as "unexplained" which I found a little dull. My favorite mysteries are those that have been solved as I could see how people were confused by the events that happened.
There simply wasn't enough depth to this book. It gave me some neat things I plan on looking into and researching, but for the most part I had heard most of it before. And it was incredibly short.
I didn't absolutely love this book, but I still think that the historical elements, such as quotes from former presidents, were really interesting. I did not realize that so many figures in history really did seem to believe in the supernatural. I think students would find this interesting too.
