This is a very clear, concise and cleverly written book, filled with stories that illustrate various messages.
Personally, some of these messages were very cut-throat, but I guess that was to be expected from the title of the book.
There are not many takeaways or actionable points from this book, instead gives a philosophical overview of a mindset that the author believes is necessary to accomplish goals in advertising. Some gems, mixed in with some mud. Dare I say it - a very finite and masculine view of the world, and portrays a true reflection of how advertising has been run up to date.
It's not a book that will stay on my bookshelf for reference, it's a once-only quick read that is easily forgotten.
