We all talk to ourselves. Yet more than seventy-five percent of what we say and think may be negative internal programming. Now psychologist Shad Helmstetter offers a powerful, comprehensive new program to help solve the most intimidating problems, accomplish goals you never dreamed of achieving and find long-term inner motivation.
This book doesn't dick around. It gives you exactly what it promises: Pages and pages of affirmations for every possible problem you might have. Once again, I can't vouch for how well they work, but you can't fault it for not giving you what you pay for. It is in some ways even better than his other book "What To Say When You Talk To Yourself," because in this one he just gives you the affirmations, rather than suggestion you create your own. Great for lazy people who want to feel better about themselves!
The affirmations in this book were very helpful to me. They helped me to re-direct my thoughts of worry and dire doom to positive and healthy thoughts. No matter what the situation is there is no benefit to be gained by intense worry and fear. There is much benefit to be gained by being positive, action oriented and living in the moment. The affirmations in this book helped me with that.
I read a few affirmations every morning just to keep my mind focused on the positive and helpful things I can do.
Good book but similar recommendations from another one of his books. Not confident in Science may regarding brain science as book was written in 1987. Well written and good tips for brain programming and positive affirmations. In the end, the book is about personal responsibility and control. Use positive affirmations to take control of what you can. Make decisions and take actions.
In a nutshell, this book, and the previous one, "What to say when you talk to yourself " are to the mind what programming languages are to computers. They lrovide the best information on how to reprogram your mind, and consequently your life.
