Used this book for Thomas Edison State College's online course "Mass Communications I" (COM-120). Pretty interesting book. It covers the basics about communication, goes over the history of the subject, includes current trends and speculation about the future, and has anecdotes, trivia, sidebars, articles, fun facts and more that makes the subject fun.
