The amount of times I’ve read this book to my preschoolers is insane. They just love it and I love seeing the excitement it brings them when I read it to them
There is big ship that is getting closer and closer to the lighthouse but Captain Turbot or the the ship Captain can not see it because the lighthouses light is broken. But the Paw Patrol can help! Chase goes into the lighthouse and shines his light. Will the Paw Patrol be able to stop the big ship before it crashes into the lighthouse. Read the book to find out.
(4☆ Would recommend) My son loves Paw Patrol. This book has a good storyline. It encompasses the 5 elements of a short story including plot, characters, setting, conflict, & resolution. The pages have large font and not too many words, which makes a great early reader book.
Synopsis:"PAW Patrol is Nickelodeon’s new animated action-adventure series starring a pack of six heroic puppies led by a tech-savvy boy named Ryder. This Step 2 Step into Reading leveled reader based on the series is perfect for boys and girls ages 4 to 6 who are just learning to read on their own. And it comes with two pages of stickers!"
My Review: Munchkin loves Paw Patrol, not only does it have dogs, but also action and vehicles & equipment. This was a great level 2 book for beginning readers, it has familiar characters, simple sentences and a short and easy to follow storyline. The story also come with two pages of stickers for some extra fun.
An easy-to-read adaptation of a Paw Patrol episode. If your kid is a Paw Patrol fan, particularly of Chase, then this would be a good book to encourage their interest in reading. The illustrations look just like the animations from the show, which will help keep their interest as they learn to read. The words are complex and varied enough to make it a learning experience and the story will be familiar enough to help build their confidence.
Like other Paw Patrol books, this is based on one of the TV episodes (S01E04 "Pups in a Fog"). This time, Captain Turbot is out at sea with the fog rolling in and the lighthouse not working. Ryder and the pups race to the rescue, as usual. This is one of the "step into reading" series as well, so good breakdown for young children who are learning to read. Of course, as is common with many of the Paw Patrol books, there are more stickers in the back to add to your child's collection.

In this adventure of the Paw Patrols the main puppies that is on this 'case' is Chase and Zuma. So if your little one likes these two puppies then they would enjoy this book. I like lighthouses and my special needs teen age son LOVES Paw Patrol, so the combination we both enjoyed this book. The text is simple but not so much that it doesn't tell a story.
Basic Plot: The lighthouse lamp is out and Ryder and the Paw Patrol have to fix it before a ship crashes on the rocks.
Meh. I can't bring myself to get too excited about this series or the book adaptations of the TV show. This being a leveled reader, it's good for kids learning to read and obsessed with Paw Patrol, and that's about it.
