This book has been on my wish list for a while now I am so glad I finally brought it. Its packed with information without being long winded. I looks at the whole crime not just DNA but looks into behaviour of the offender and much more different crime scenes.

This is a good layman's introduction to Forensic Investigation. It gives a solid overview of the history of Forensic Science, present day methods and approaches, and ends with a brief speculation of what Forensic Science might look like in the future. This book is also packed full of pictures that really help bring the material to life.
This book won't make you a Forensics expert, but I found it gave me the overview I wanted and I would recommend it to anyone wanting to learn a little about forensic science.

Themen:
- Dem Täter auf der Spur
- Die Anfänge der Kriminaltechnik
- Tatortsciherung
- Dokumentation am Tatort
- Jeder Spur zählt
- Fingerabdrücke nehmen
- Fingerabdrücke analysieren
- Verräterisches Blut
- Untersuchung der DNA

- Natürliche Spuren
- Bleibende Eindrücke
