I liked this a lot. What I loved was the dark storyline that was cleverly woven into a free spirited romance novel. The character of Dakota ending up on an island with a hostess like Ramah was my fave! As for the reasons She ends up far away from Australia, well you gotta read it! I know romance lovers will like it and also woman's fiction lovers too. The Dakota tale is a great story filled with a bit of light, dark, love and of course family I'm reading book 2 nowLife WAS hard for Dakota Livingston. Right after she says her marriage vows, things take an awful turn towards a dark tunnel that she can see no light. Her husband turned into a monster…He abused her so bad. I love dark books and the dark side of this story has me turning the pages! When her husband is finally made accountable for his crimes, Dakota's loving parent reward her with a trip to rejuvenate her life.

After surviving a brutal attack, Dakota is scared, she feels alone and desperate to go back to her old self. im afraid large

While on her American vacation she gets to meet some interesting folks. They all embrace her in a way that she feels immediate love but doesnt connect because she has been with a monster. So Dakota when Dakota meets people who are filming a movie, she comes accross Kyle Rutherford. Kyle is immediately taken by Dakota and her charming features. She unexpectedly starts to fall gor him. So YES I am screaming at the book GOOD.

This is the first book in a trilogy and it was ok. I love the main characters of Kyle and Dakota and their meeting and subsequent romance. I did find it a bit slow and boring at times, especially all the spiritual and aura stuff, I found that unbelievable but overall it was a decent story and I'm looking forward to the next instalment.

Branched out to a non-US romance author... Well, turns out women across the world can all be unlucky in love, but who doesn't love another chance to get it right? Except... gah, cliffhanger ending. But worry not, fellow readers, the entire series is available on KU so you can just click on the next one.

Hated this book. annoying immature characters and the book storyline is unrealistic, shorty story and predictable, going to be dragged out over a series ''milking it'' springs to mind. I hate cliffhangers

Book is all right, but it's a cliffhanger

The storyline was ok, but the writing seemed a little childish to me. I enjoyed the book for the most part, but I detest cliffhangers!
