Penelope Price contemplates dating her boss (Derek Hamilton) again. But all they talked about the last time was vehicles they worked on at the auto shop that day. Along with her job at Hamilton Auto Repair, Nell also teaches ballroom dancing at her mom’s studio. And to top off her crazy job schedule, she takes a “Finding Your Spiritual Gifts” test at her church. This sets more things into motion than Penelope ever dreamed of – one being the day her two professions collide. She won’t be able to dance her way out of this predicament. Will Penelope’s newest dance student (Harrison) waltz into Priceless Dance Studio and steal her heart away? Or will Derek’s gifts of wit and wisdom win her over in the end?

This was a wonderful story. I enjoyed all the characters and the environment surrounding them. I loved that the main character was a dance instructor and a mechanic (blows my mind, lol). So fun. I enjoyed the banter and silliness through out the story with work peeps and family. The ending was a surprise to me which I really liked. This is the first book I've read from Janetta Fudge-Messmer and I'm excited to read more from this talented author. This book was full of faith, doubt, stress, knowledge, laughs, friendships, family, and love. Don't let this book sit in your TBR stack. IT IS WONDERFUL!!
I thoroughly enjoyed "Waltzing with a Grease Monkey" by Janetta Fudge-Messmer! I appreciated the characters. Penelope Pearl Price presented herself as a strong character, who loves the Lord, teaches dance and works on cars. I appreciated the pace of the story as it stepped along leading me to wonder who truly had Penelope's eye, time, and heart- Derek or Harrington. This novella included moments of humor and romance that brightened my day.
Cute story about a young woman who is both a dance instructor and a mechanic, but who is still unsure about her life's direction. This is a Christian romance and the heroine uses her faith and prayer to navigate life's challenges. She even "prayed without ceasing" while working under a car.
There are two potential love interests in the mix and a cast of characters including her mother and brother--who I believe was her twin.
The writing is lighthearted and fun. I enjoyed this one.
I love the title and cover! A charming and easy-to-read romance with comedy sprinkled throughout. Penelope (Nell) is a dance instructor at her family-owned store. She is also a professional auto mechanic. What a combination! These two worlds collide when she dates her boss and meets a handsome student at the studio. Prayers and dreams, antics, and teasing go a long way in pointing Nell where her long-term goals need to lie. A storyline is easy to figure out but cute and engaging.
A humorous story of about 8 chapters. The girl teaches dance plus is an auto mechanic. I couldn't figure out which guy would win until the author revealed it. I'm still puzzled @ why I didn't see the clues.
This is a really cute story that can easily be read in a day. Penelope is confused and the men in her life aren’t helping. I hope there’s another story about her brother. And the man who didn’t get the girl in the end also needs a book.
I love light hearted books that can be read quickly and yet leave one thinking a little more deeply about a relationship with God, and this book does just that.
Loved the story, the humor and the spiritual parts. The ending shocked me! I was like, "no, can't be"! But I loved the " shock". Love when a book surprises me
