Fenomenal!

I disagree with Porter's conclusions on the atemporality of tense in Koine Greek (cf. Buist Fanning, Verbal Aspect in New Testament Greek for a rebuttal). That is just not the way language functions. But the breadth and depth of his research is outstanding. His work made my own thesis on irregular temporal references in NT Greek MUCH easier to research and write.

A very difficult-to-read, highly technical dissertation that is, nevertheless, a must read for any student of Greek, especially New Testament Greek, verbal aspect.

Porter's work is foundational to any conversation of Verbal Aspect in Koine Greek.
