The Cambridge Latin Course is a well-established introductory course developed by the Cambridge School Classics Project. This fourth edition offers a number of new features whilst retaining the fundamental elements of this popular course. Book IV is based in Rome and contains explanatory language notes with grammatical tables and vocabularies, practice examples, background information and illustrations and a vocabulary checklist for each Stage. The layout of the stories and language notes has been improved, and the grammar sections, stories and exercises have also been revised to aid both pupils' and teachers' comprehension.
So pleased to have got through yet another in this series. It was hard going and like book 3, I’m going to have to go back and do a lot of revision of the grammar, but I still think it’s a good way to learn Latin. Wish there was an answer book though!
