"Wading in the Deep End" is not a surface level introduction to Christianity. If one is looking for an easy read that will make you feel warm and fuzzy, this is not the book for you. But, if you have a desire to dive into the deeper discussions of Christianity, then I recommend reading "Wading in the Deep End".

Whether you agree with all of the author's views or not, you will be better informed on issues such as predestination, free will, and the sovereignty of God. The author provided a lot of Biblical backing, and does a great job of showing that his views are not reached lightly, but have been weighed against much study of the Bible and other sources. It is refreshing to see someone who has a reason for the hope he has.

We are told to always be ready to give an answer, and "Wading in the Deep End" will provide you with a lot backing for the answers you provide.

If you are ready to plunge into the conversation about Christianity, if you want to know the reasons behind many of answers in the discussion of Christianity, and if you have a desire to to learn more about the intricate workings of Scripture, this book will not disappoint. It will draw you into a legacy of study which has been taking place for thousands of years, and it will cause you to think about what you believe and why. What is encouraging about this book is that it doesn't just provide questions, but it explains the answers that many hold to. It is simple to understand, yet profound in depth.

You may not agree with all the author presents, but you cannot question that the author knows what he is talking about and provides Biblical backing for his claims. If you are going to attempt a different stance, then this book will definitely challenge you to study and have a "reason" for the hope that is in you.

It's easy to make claims, but, as followers of Christ, we are called to weigh our claims against diligent study of God's word, and "Wading in the Deep End" will encourage you to do just that.

Really eye opening and provides a lot of scripture to back up claims about sensitive Christian topics.
