I've been morbidly obese for most of my life and have tried every diet out there. After someone recommended this book to me, it sat on my desk for a long time before I finally picked it up. I'm glad I did, because it changed my life.

I decided to try it for just a month to see if I could even do it. A month went by, and then another. I'm in my third month and I've lost 50 lbs. I don't even care about the weight so much as how I feel. And I'm curious to see how it combats my illnesses. I'm not generally a sick person, but my last physical had me pre-diabetic and anemic. I had high LDLs. I struggle with depression and very painful periods. I'm tired of being tired. I needed a change. This change has been like nothing I've ever tried before. My 3 month physical is coming up and I'm very curious to see how my numbers have changed. If you're interested, I'm chronicling my journey on youtube:

I've also written reviews for all these books individually. I have different thoughts on all of them.

Even if you're not ready for a life style change, try reading one of these books. It's amazing how much the dairy industry, the egg industry, the meat industry, the doctors, the pharmaceutical companies, and the government is trying to keep from us. At the very least, you deserve to be informed. I warn you though, be prepared to hear things you don't want to hear.
