Western Pennsylvania - you'd think there's not a lot going on, but read a Mario Balzic mystery and you'll stand corrected. Almost incoherent but somehow true dialect - Poles, Italians, Serbs. Hot blooded tempers, and long family and neighborhood loyalties. And the food! Sausage and peppers and onions in tomato sauce on a roll made me hungry. Will look for more from KC Constantine.
