I felt this book flowed much better then book 1 and also filled in lots of gaps! There’s action, lots of twist and spice! The storyline for this duet is so good!!

I loved this first book, it was fantastic. This one however was just amazing. I was hooked from the beginning. I’m still very much in love with Darius 😍😍. So many plot twists I just had to keep going! I loved all the relationships between the characters, the story flowed well and boy can MercyAnn Summer write!! 5/5 for me!

I thought the last book had thrown enough shock factors at me, and left me going what?! No, apparently I was wrong. WAY wrong because this one was even more. My brain felt like every couple dozen pages youd get a slap of wham in your face. A big shock too IMO. Also, I thought the last book was a lot. Lol no, not compared to this one. There is so much going on. This is definitely a complex story. I did enjoy it though

Book one was not my favorite but I needed answers! The arc for the character growth was so GREAT. Also it has that build up of tension and action that will keep you guessing!

This book filled in all those mysteries from book 1 and the FMCs character development was awesome! I can’t wait to read Tony’s book! Miss Mercyann you can write some fabulous books!!😍

I couldn’t get enough of this book. This is book 2 in the duet and even though I loved book 1 this was even better🥰 we found out the entire backstory, we found out about more characters involved, we saw friendships and relationships develop and blossom, the dark was dark and the spice was spicing 😏😂 the plot twists.. I just didn’t see any of them coming! It took me by surprise MULTIPLE times! Loved it. Can’t wait to read about Tony next 🖤

OMG THIS BOOK!!!! I have never hated and loved characters so much! The writing was fantastic and I love Toni's Snarkiness. Dare's devotion to those he cares about is amazing and the found family is so special. I laughed, cried, and got angry. This book deserves your attention!

I definitely enjoyed this one more than the first, i loved Toni's fierceness and her relationship with Matt and Tony. I loved Darius' friendship with Agatha. I'd love to see more of this found family as a unit. There were so many twists that this book was a constant surprise!

Ends of being had me hooked.
This normally isn’t my type of book but I fell in love with it and needed more. The way this author writes is beautiful, she keeps you hooked from the beginning while also taking you on an emotional ride. She gives banter, sexiness, spice, suspense. She gives you EVERYTHING!! You’ll need tissues because I cried like a baby.
It’s a duet, but it’s one of those duets where you want it to be more. Left me in a book hangover and not wanting to read anything else.
I highly recommend this book.
Can’t wait for the next one.

This book had me saying “WTF” on every other page. I liked this book much more than the first one. You get a lot of the answers you were missing. It’s action packed and there’s a lot to the plot, but there is also a lot of spice! So good!

This was a great read! I’d suggest reading in order because there are things from book 1 that will be mentioned in this book. There was a cliffhanger as well this was full of twist and turns but I loved it!

I ate this book up!!! I could not put it down! Book one had me confused in certain parts but this book cleared that all up and still had a twist I didn't expect to happen. I honestly loved this whole duet and can't wait to get a pysical copy to reread it over and over. I would check trigger warnings before reading since this is a dark romance. But I can't wait to see how the author continues the story and what characters are gonna be next!!

The plot twists are immense from Toni regaining her memories and who she really is, realising her sister is actually her mother, finding out she has a brother and from taking on the enemy with such explosive power!

In the continuation of the story a lot more came out in this book. Very well written. I felt like I was in the book. I could picture everything. Toni learned a lot more about her life before the amnesia. This was an eventful book and the story isn’t over yet. I love all of the characters. What happened to Dmitri was awesome. Toni is a strong woman and I love her character. I love her and Darius together they complete each other.

This is book 2 of the series, and you will need to read the first to know what is going on. This still continues with Toni and Dare’s point of view, but there is a chapter for Matt and another chapter for Tony.
In this one, Toni slowly gets her memories back, and she gets them all back after something major happens. As she gets her memories back, she becomes who she was previously and fights to get her life back. Since she is getting her memories back, you get answers that weren’t answered in book one.
I absolutely LOVED how the author approached Toni’s history. We don’t know about her background until she gets her memories back. We also get a lot of answers to things that were confusing in the first book, as well as through the second. This book is also very twisty, and unexpected things continue to happen. It is also action packed with a little bit of spice, not too much and not too little.

Honestly I didn’t enjoy book 1 but book 2 was just the kick I needed to fall in love with this series. It ended being an amazing read. The twists and turns were unreal. So much dark romance too, just perfect. Although I rated the first book 5 stars, this book was soooo much better.
The drama of it all had me hooked.
Loved Darius’ relationship with Agatha and also Toni’s relationship with Tony and Matt blossomed in this book.
I may have shed a tear when reading about Lilith and her struggles throughout her life.
I believe this book gave us the FULL story behind Darius and Toni’s past relationship and how they came to be in each others lives.
I just absolutely could not stop reading and I’m looking forward to reading about Tony in the next book.

This book was one plot twist after another and I loved it.
The friendship between Toni, Matt and Tony was brilliant and filled with of banter and Darius with Agatha had quite a few laughable moments too!
At first I kept being confused as to what was happening, but then it started being really clear and more enjoyable.
The second 50% of the book I feel like I devoured it, because it was so good!
Also I really liked the fact that there wasn’t HEA with pregnancy involved.
Absolutely recommend this duet to anyone who likes books like this!

This story picks up with Dare missing and Toni and crew trying to find him. When they spot him on the arm of an actress halfway around the world...well, it doesn't go over too well. Toni, Tony, Matt and Lilith come up with a plan to figure out what he is doing (does he need to be rescued? Did he really leave them?) When Toni finally gets to him, how will he explain this? Are they still in danger? Who originally came after Toni?
“What's the point of money and power if you've sacrificed everyone who has ever been important to you to gain and keep it?"
We got so many answers in this book! When I first started this duet I was not a fan of Toni or Dare...but by the end I loved them so much. No spoilers, but they way they loved each other, even when it wasn't obvious (to me or themselves,) really spoke to me. They have great chemistry and such a strong connection. Lilith, Tony and Matt also really grew on me. All of the characters were very funny and they had really great banter.
The story has a lot of secrets and twists and turns. And so much drama. And the snark, so many snarky comments and jokes. All the characters had a certain amount of sass but Toni was my favorite. Toni was such an interesting FMC. I loved her and at times she also made me want to scream at her....but as she slowly started to get her memories back she really transformed into a total sassy badass. There is one scene in particular with a grenade that was *chef's kiss.
I will say we find out something about Dare that makes the first book make more sense to me. Looking back I can see the little breadcrumbs that were dropped along the way. If you like suspense and twists and drama, I definitely recommend this duet.

Luckily, book 2 has the answers. Seriously though, they're all a bunch of bloodthirsty, unhinged, crazies, and I love that for them.
I know we're getting Tony's story & potentially Matt's but I want to know more about Agatha because WTF is going on with this family. Awesome story with interesting writing this book, the deja vu of some scenes was 😏
'Fuck around & find out' may be the motto but 'Burn it all' is the level of insanity I wish for.
