As someone who is studying trauma treatment in the hopes of someday becoming a psychologist, I think that this is a very good overview of the many different ways of treating trauma in different types of patients. Robin Shapiro wrote a very well-researched and organized book that I will most likely find myself re-reading when I start delving into serious study of trauma, especially PTSD. I definitely recommend it to anyone who is interested in treating different types of trauma, though I'm not sure how it would impact a professional.
This book is a big ripple towards learning and understanding Ego State Therapy.
This book was was really a compete rendering of what a learning text on the topic of who state work should offer a serious learning. It was easy to listen to. it simple flower in ever logical manner.
