What I had liked most is author quoted many motivational quotes and given out many examples which is more connectable and reader friendly. The book is more pointed towards HOW TO DO other than stating WHAT TO DO.
Each and every topic has been discussed in detailed yet the analysis and if author written about her personal touch on the above principles it will be given more connection while reading.
Overall, Principle of success is guide to find easy way of success if you followed on a regular basics. An good light read with simple and lucid language of total 132 pages. Personally a well motivational read for me.

Review- The blurb clearly manifests what is inside the book i.e. 14 principles of success. The book comprises 14 principles which can be helpful to build a successful life. These principles are divided into various chapters. Hard work Believe yourself Buildup yourself Be confident Never give up Positive affirmation Discipline and preserving Identify your skills and need to master them Celebration of success Optimism Organization of oneself Be a winner etc the every principle is defined and discussed in very simple, easy and detailed language. If you want success mantra and recipe of success then you must read this book at least once. This book is enough to give you positive vibes and confidence to go ahead towards your goal. You need to polish your skills and use them in right direction to reach your goal. There are many useful pieces of advice given in the book and you need to read them separately with an open mind to grasp the meaning of the principles. This book gave me self-confidence and an optimistic feeling. It made me realize that the winner is inside me, all I have to do is discover it. This book left a deep impact on my mind. The short length of the book allowed me to read it in a go but I'll keep turning it's pages until I completely memorize its meaning.
The cover of the book is simple and sober and clearly indicates the theme of the book. A simple cover for a motivational book is a good combination. The author has used many quotations in the book which is really good and inspirational. The bullet points given in between chapters are the cherry on the cake.
The language was simple and detailed so every person will find it's content reliable and easy to understand. The title was appropriate for the book. The author has written a fine piece of literature which is interesting and inspirational too.
A simple but an effective book which will lead you to the path of success. It does not tell you anything different. It all talks about how you can effectively project yourself and lead yourself towards the path of success.
There are so many simple thins which we take it for granted which in turn effects us in more than one way or the other. When these things are controlled, the end result is brilliant.
Author, who is an ophthalmologist has used relevant examples from the real people including Amitabh Bachchan, J K Rowling, Oprah Winfrey, Stephen Hawking apart from he sayings by some of the world's renowned leaders.
Points were emphasised through bullets which also makes it an interesting read and gives you a feel that you are going through some management book. The book has 14 chapters with each discussing about different characteristics including Confidence, Visualisation, Hard Work, Perseverance, Discipline, Handling the stress etc., and it is clearly recommended even by the author to read one chapter a time to grasp the contents in full. When you read them at all one stretch, it becomes a chaos. So, enjoy the book. Read them one chapter at a time. Take some time to try implementing it before going to the next chapter to see it works.
Do not compromise on few but at the same time be confident ensuring that you are neither under confident nor over confident. Be yourself. Read. Grasp. Implement.
Perfect Guide to Success: Principles to Success Made Easy by Dr. Roopleen Prasad
I call it a perfect guide because it is truly a perfect guide. Because unlike other books which promise you that you will be successful immediately after reading their book this book stands different by not promising but providing guidelines how one can really be successful. Success I believe happens everyday and by the efforts of each individual. But as the author rightly guides us there are moments in our life when we feel low or unable to trade the path and that is when we need guidance or direction to channelize our talents.
‘There comes a phase in your life when you are completely down and feel it cannot get any worse. It is during these difficult times that you need to think positive and keep your morale high. Hold on to your dreams and believe you can succeed. Bounce back and tale life ‘Head-on’. Well yeah, this book starts with such motivational lines which will gear up your enthusiastic level.
“A journey of a thousand miles Begins with a single step” - Lao Tse
Life is something more than just beautiful for those who have hope in their heart and confidence in their mind. People without hope and confidence will not be able to appreciate the lessons given by the failures in life. There must be something to feed on you and such a booster is ‘Principles of Success Made Easy’.
The author talks about the 14 easy steps to climb the ‘Ladder of Success’, which covers almost all significant topics including Personality check, how to get motivated and stay motivated, Ways to build self-confidence, Positive and negative visualization, Hard work, Perseverance, Discipline and much more which shall be the brick to build up the castle of your hope.
It is necessary to grasp every single point spread under the chapter, so as suggested by the author, do read one chapter at a time in order to enlighten your mind to a greater extend. Applying the given principles into your life is much more important. Each line in the chapters will act itself as a motivational tonic which is sure to hold your mind with its root. The thirteenth chapter, ‘Be a Winner’ has been my favorite part and you shall enjoy that only if you read the book from its neck to the bottom. Quoting words of greatest personalities are added ice to the top of the cake.
The author, Dr Roopleen, herself being a die-hard advocator of positive thinking and self-motivation, has evidently succeeded in sowing the seeds of hope in the mind of the readers. The do’s and don’ts given altogether will act as a key to the door of success. Why wait when you have the key for success in a distance of a stone’s throw? Grab the book ASAP.
I believe that the biggest wall you have to climb is the one you build in your mind: Never let your mind talks you out of your dreams, trick you into giving up. Never let your mind become the greatest obstacle to success. To get your mind on the right track, the rest will follow. This book talks about the fourteen easy steps to climb the ladder of success. The title itself gave me a feeling of the way I see it, our natural human instinct is to fight or flee that which we perceive to be dangerous. Although this mechanism evolved to protect us, it serves as the single greatest limiting process to our growth. To put this process in perspective and not let it rule my life, I expect the unexpected; make the unfamiliar familiar; make the unknown known; make the uncomfortable comfortable; believe the unbelievable. That is success. The tower of success stands on the pillars of vision, action, patience and the character to withstand criticisms. I felt the title is apt and very accurate for the book.
REVIEW OF THE BOOK-
Yes, it is true that the road to success is not at all easy. On the road to success there is absolutely no room for criticism of self or others. Insecurity and fear masquerade as jealousy and judgement. Finding faults in others wastes time as we attempt to remove the bricks from other people’s foundations – time that could be better spent building our own. And worrying about what other people think about us also wastes the time that could be better spent expanding upon what we have built. People will insist on building high and wide barriers directly in your path, often with the intent of closing you in. If you treat these obstacles like fencing walls, they will prove mightily so. We should choose to see them as grand towers meant to be scaled and conquered, providing an added victory as well as a great view of the journey ahead. The second aspect of this book is achievement. I recall an incident from my childhood days which will relate to this. When I was little and running on the race track at school, I always stopped and waited for all the other kids so we could run together even though I knew that I could run much faster than all of them! I pretended to read slowly so I could "wait" for everyone else who couldn't read as fast as I could! When my friends were short I pretended that I was short too and if my friend was sad I pretended to be unhappy. I could go on and on about all the ways I have limited myself, my whole life, by "waiting" for people. And the only thing that I've ever received in return is people thinking that they are faster than me, people thinking that they can make me feel bad about myself just because I let them and people thinking that I have to do whatever they say I should do. My mother used to teach me "Cinderella is a perfect example to be" but I have learned that Cinderella can go mess herself, I'm not waiting for anybody, anymore! I'm going to run as fast as I can, fly as high as I can, I am going to soar and if you want you can come with me! But I'm not waiting for you anymore. That is achievement. And what about failures? Each of us has two distinct choices to make about what we will do with our lives. The first choice we can make is to be less than we have the capacity to be. To earn less. To have less. To read less and think less. To try less and discipline ourselves less. These are the choices that lead to an empty life. These are the choices that, once made, lead to a life of constant apprehension instead of a life of wondrous anticipation And the second choice? To do it all! To become all that we can possibly be. To read every book that we possibly can. To earn as much as we possibly can. To give and share as much as we possibly can. To strive and produce and accomplish as much as we possibly can. The book beautifully amalgamates happiness with success. Yes, Happiness is the consequence of personal effort. You fight for it, strive for it, insist upon it, and sometimes even travel around the world looking for it. You have to participate relentlessly in the manifestations of your own blessings. And once you have achieved a state of happiness, you must never become lax about maintaining it. You must make a mighty effort to keep swimming upward into that happiness forever, to stay afloat on top of it. None of us know what will make you happy. That is a question you have to ask yourself. But what I can tell you for certain is that you will have to ask yourself and get to a place where the sound of your voice is the clearest voice in the room. This book will act as the room and you need to find your voice in it.
1. THE BEAUTIFUL AMALGAMATION OF HAPPINESS WITH SUCCESS.
2. THE LUCID DESCRIPTIVE LANGUAGE.
And lastly think outside of the box. Work outside of the box. Dream outside of the box. Succeed outside of the box.
RATINGS-
Overall I would like to rate the book 45 on a scale of 50. 4 stars out of 5 1. Originality of the plot and sub plots- 9/10 2. Net emotions in the story- 9/10 3. Usage of words and phrases-8/10 4. The title, cover and the illustration-10/10 5. The net impact on the readers- 9/10

Review:
The book comprises of fourteen chapters. Each chapter of the book highlights a different technique to attain our goals. It comprises of the following fourteen steps to be successful:
Draft the Blueprint of Your Life Believe in Yourself Build Yourself Up Let Confidence Be Your Hallmark Never Give Up Visualizations and Positive Affirmations The Tripod of Success- Hard Work, Perseverance and Discipline Identify Your Achilles’ Heel Skills you Need to Master Get Tough With Stress Organize Yourself- Declutter Your Life Acknowledge and Celebrate Your Success Be a Winner The X-Factor The book was not just a guide for me but a factor that instilled infinite motivation in my life. It has shown me the mirror-image of my own self and categorize myself according to my will power and capabilities. Each chapter of the book was an amalgamation of quotes from famous personalities, quotes by the author, pointers of the important topics, examples from other’s lives, definitions and lots of advice. The language was very simple with an informal tone. The topics were presented in a very interesting and influencing manner. The title and the cover were highly motivating like the contents of the book. The book teaches the importance of accepting our weaknesses rather than avoiding them and allowing them to overpower us. One must also reward oneself for his or her achievements. The book tells the reader how to focus on the goals and achieve her ambitions. This book is flawlessly framed out. I not only read this like a book but also made notes from this book to guide me in the future. Overall it was a worthy and inspirational read. I recommend this book to all those who want to figure out a draft for themselves to become successful.
We now a days have the habit of glancing through books, biopics, documentaries of great people to take snippets of what worked well for such successful people from diverse field and start striving to implement those processes in our lives at our fancies, without even analyzing if those processes, those circumstances those stages of life are akin to ours and hence many a time we face a failure. As “Life is too short to learn by trial and errors”, now here comes a gift from Roopleen to the society at large.
I would really want to acknowledge this as a gift as like a seasoned motivational speaker Roopleen here doesn’t talk about the solution only here she first tries to analyze the problem statement, find the gap and then elaborate the solution through her fourteen step journey formula to success. Success like Perfection is an ongoing process at whatever stage of life we are at present or whether society, our friends and family or we ourselves think of us as successful till now, still we want to be more successful in the future. Now the future journey of success is exclusive of the fact whether in your previous endeavor you were successful or not. So this book by Roopleen would help one and all irrespective of their current standing.
One significant praise worthy perspective of the book is that this book talks or raw principles, how to apply them in a very presentation like fluid format keep the audience in the coveted judges seat throughout and here “you are your best judge”.
Recommendation to author would be to try and reduce speaker like rhetoric questioning in piece of literature if possible in future, as that goes very well in face to face conversation however dilutes the literary gravity of the book.
Overall I would personally like to thank Roopleen in taking all the effort in gift society with this book which would definitely “Optimize their I-sight and help their earn their own success”
Book Review by LITEROMA PUBLISHING SERVICES :: ‘Principles of Success Made Easy’ by Dr. Roopleen (1st Review)
** Thanks to the author for gifting us a review copy of the book. **
Dr. Roopleen's 'Principle of Success - 14 Easy Steps to Climb the Ladder of Success' is a perfect feel-good read for any reader. Success by its very dynamic nature has no proven formula. Even attempting to plot a roadway leading to a formula is an uphill task.
In her book Dr. Rooplen attempts to do that and she did a pretty good job. ‘Principles of success’ lists down a set of 14 principles based on the experience of the author which if followed can lead to a sustainable success. The good point is that the principles are simple enough to be followed by people belonging to different walks of life.
Though it is often said, a book should not be judged by its cover; but needless to say it is the book's cover which sets the tone of reading experience you may expect from the book. The front cover of Dr. Roopleen's book is successful in creating that optimistic first impression even for any casual reader.
As the author has rightly mentioned, the readers need to read the book chapter-wise and allow some time for the content to get settled in. The books is an apt read for those especially who are looking to walk up the success ladder in near future. However, those who already have tasted success to a certain extent or looking forward to lift their success to the next level, might not find the book to be handy. But it can definitely serve the purpose of a quick read for them as well.
Overall, Literoma finds it a perfect feel-good read which provides the readers with a lot of positive energy. We rate it to be a 4.7*/5* and recommend for a fair reading. Literoma will look forward to see the author exploring this genre further.
A step by step guide to take charge of your own life. The book is divided in 14 chapters and Roopleen has done a wonderful job in describing each and every aspect of each one in detail. They are beautifully written and they are even divided in sub-sections which makes them more comprehensible.
14 steps mentioned in the book are:
Draft the Blueprint of Your Life Believe in Yourself Build Yourself Up Let Confidence Be Your Hallmark Never Give Up Visualizations and Positive Affirmations The Tripod of Success- Hard Work, Perseverance and Discipline Identify Your Achilles’ Heel Skills you Need to Master Get Tough With Stress Organize Yourself- Declutter Your Life Acknowledge and Celebrate Your Success Be a Winner The X-Factor What I really liked about the book is the flow and the quotes used. Each quote is valid and true in real life. They motivate you to do something good in life.
Example - "Its not who you are holds you back; Its who you think you are not" - Anonymous "The tragedy of life doesn't lie in not reaching your goals; The tragedy lies in having no goal to reach" - Benjamin Mays
The book also has important tips in the end of each chapter, which helps reader take important notes.
I really like the cover, it is apt and communicates the motive of the book.
What, as per me, is lacking is examples and narration. For someone who is well experienced in their field and work, the book will act as a guide. However for younger generation, who need more guidance and support, some relevant examples would have been helpful.
If you're a self help book reader (like me), this book didn't really provide anything new or breakthrough. You probably know everything already.
Why aren't we successful yet, then? Maybe we forgot the principles, or we got sidetracked by other things? I questioned whether I'm that person who prayed to win a lottery but never actually buy the ticket.
This book helped in evaluating what you already did, what you could've done, and what you could change. It's a gentle kind of book, providing many heart warming examples. Examples that made you think if they can do it, surely you can do it too. It doesn't force you to do every implement every single step at once, take it at your own pace, but make sure to be persistent.
Being successful doesn't happen overnight. I imagine it's like turning water to steam. You put a lot of heat to it and you see nothing. Only if you keep at it, it'll eventually boil and turned to steam. Most people only see it at the moment it boils.
The other inspiring part of this book is how the author has managed to paraphrase other important and standard self-help and motivational books and condensed the most important parts in her own. She keeps you going with every page. She covers EVERYTHING you need to know about conceptualizing your goal from the thought stage, to buidling your team, to dealing with obstacles, and finally, to learning to manage your success once you get there. There are no leaves left unturned in this pathway to success.

** Thanks to the author for gifting us a review copy of the book. **
The book looked like an average read to me when I first picked it up. But as I slowly went through the pages, it started creating sense to me. In fact, I got deeply involved towards the end so much so that I skipped a day's meal to finish it off. There lies the success of the author.
The book does have some gaps but that can be overlooked keeping in mind the topic. There are very few books in this genre written in India and it has a good market prospect from that perspective. The publisher will have to work hard to get good readership of this genre in India. They can plan for some good promotional plans to push the book to gain visibility.
The book cover is ok, could have been made better. The author must focus on copy editing in her next books as there are quite a few errors in this book. Nothing but it hampers the reading experience to a reader and which eventually impacts the finishing note.
The book contents are meaningful to me, written in very simple English. I loved the author's play with the words 'eye' and 'I'. I got some thin similarity in thoughts with Chetan Bhagat's concepts expressed in 'What Young India Wants'.
Overall, we will rate the book as 4.4*/5* and suggest readers to expect a decent read.

A book on success typically is meant for two types of readers – Firstly, those who are not so successful and want to be successful and secondly, for those who are already successful and want to stretch the boundary of their success further.
The book by Dr. Roopleen may not be a perfect fit for the second lot. But it’s a book which the first lot just can’t afford to miss. It is quite evident that the steps are derived from the life-long experience of a medico. It’s, undoubtedly, always a fascinating idea to go through the life account of an accomplished professional.
Dr. Roopleen expressed in the book that from being an eye-specialist, she wants to help others to become ‘I-specialist’. With her next books, Dr. Roopleen may plan to back the steps of success mentioned by her in the book by sufficient survey data points so that the recommendations become more stronger.
Overall, Literoma rates the book as 4.8*/5*. This book is a perfect first step towards her vision and Team Literoma wishes her all the best in turning her ambition to reality.
Book - Principles of Success MADE EASY Author - Roopleen
Principles of Success of rules to be followed to live a successful life is written here rather beautifully than boring. This Book motivates you to look where you are lacking while treading on the path of success. This Book has fourteen chapters where each chapter will guide you to the success as you go on reading. You will not find anything new in here but you may find something that you already know but you are overlooking at that because you don't consider it to be of any importance. We all take this path to success but the small things we overlook makes the difference in our life. Like the difference I learned between losing and almost winning and that is where the tragedy of life reside in. I recommend this book to all those who are tired of trying and failing because you may find where you really lack and to those who are about to begin because you may not do the repeat mistake most of us make. before closing I would just like to quote from the book which was said by Heywood Brown - 'The tragedy of life is not that the man loses, but that he almost wins'.

‘Principles of Success Made Easy’ by Dr. Roopleen simplifies the road map of success. It chalks out an easy to understand list of 14 steps which if absorbed and implemented correctly will guide an individual towards success. The book can work as a helpful guide to people irrespective of the domain or social strata they belong to.
As the author Dr. Roopleen rightly mentioned the book can be a perfect guide to turn individuals to ‘I-specialist’. The other prominent feature of the book is the set of quotations used by the author. It really adds up to the overall reading experience.
However, at times, as a reader, one tends to feel the road map is way too oversimplified. So, in case, Dr. Roopleen is planning a follow-up book on self-development, she needs to safeguard against this. Definitely, the book deserves a shot and is recommended for all who feels the pinch to be successful.
Overall, Literoma rates the book as 4.8*/5* and recommends for a fine reading to general audience.

** Thanks to the author for gifting us a review copy of the book. **
Team Literoma got a chance to review the debut book ‘Principles of Success Made Easy’ authored by Dr. Roopleen. It’s an excellent work on what all should be to chase success in a planned way. The steps described by the author can easily be picked by an individual.
As the author rightly mentioned in the preface of the book itself, the reader needs to plan a quite slow pace of reading while going through the book. This is not a book which is meant to be finished at one go. This is a book which needs its own time to sync in. If read with the right approach, this book will surely work as a super useful material to attain success.
What the book lacks is the ‘How’ part – how one can start adopting the steps mentioned by author. In case, a person is seasoned enough to crack the how part on his own, the book is going to play the role of an excellent guide for him.
Overall, Literoma rates the book as 4.5*/5* and highly recommends the book to all readers."

‘Success’ is a heavily perspective-dependent term. With different persons come different perspectives and that’s why it’s immensely difficult to write a generic account on how to become successful.
Though It has been attempted many a times by the western authors, it’s not very common in the eastern part of the world. If not for anything else, Dr. Roopleen deserves special appreciation for this effort itself.
‘Principles of success’ enlists 14 points which when followed, promises to play a role in making a person successful. The good point is these steps are easy to understand. Anyone can comprehend what the author intended to convey.
However, at times, the author left too much of interpretation to the reader. The risk is that some readers may oversimplify the concepts and interpret those in their own ways without realizing the exact objective of the author.
Overall, Literoma rates the book as 4.2*/5* and recommends as a must read for readers from different walks of society.

** Thanks to the author for gifting us a review copy of the book. **
Dr. Roopleen made a real promising debut with her ‘Principles of success’ which is a very promising Indian book on self-development. It is an easy to understand guide to chase success – whatever way one looks at the concept of success. As the book is written based on the practical experience of the author, the perspectives presented turned out to be fresh and not influenced by methods described in other books on self-development. The quotations used in the book enrich the reading experience.
One point which we feel, the author can start doing from her next book is including a few more visual representations so that the principles get instilled in the minds of the readers in the form of mind maps.
Overall, would rate the book as 4.9*/5* and we strongly suggest this book to the readers looking for success stories of known persons. Literoma will be waiting eagerly for the next endeavour by the author.

There are few aspects in life for which it’s always an uphill task to draw a set of principles. ‘Success’ is one of those aspects. It’s really heartening to see an Indian author attempting the task. Though it’s a not-so-uncommon phenomenon in the Western literary canvas, it’s not every day that an Indian author attempts to paint the blue print of success – that too in one’s debut book. Dr. Roopleen deserves a heart-felt congrats from team Literoma for that.
Being a doctor by profession, Roopleen gets a good chance to interact with a lot of people day in and day out. All those interactions had very subtly been transformed into a self-development book by Roopleen. If not for anything else, a reader must give this book a go to understand the self-felt experiences of a doctor.
Overall, Literoma rates the book as 4.7*/5*. Readers will surely wait for Roopleen’s next venture on self-development.

We have often heard people saying that cover makes the first impression for any book. But for me, the book title is of utmost importance. If I find a title catchy, then only I turn over the pages. Else keep it back from where I had picked it up. People call me crazy but that's how it appeals me as a book geek. Well, there lies the success of Dr. Roopleen's book which made me read till the end.
Well coming to the contents, I did not find it extraordinary but the simplicity itself will be its selling point to young readers looking for initial days of success in their life. It does lack in basic research at places where she talks of self confidence and self belief, however the overall presentation is well packaged.
Overall, would like to rate the book as 4.1*/5* and would recommend this book for young brains.
As the title suggests, this book deals with the topic of success. The book is divided into 14 steps and the author explains each chapter in detail giving real life examples of people you may have heard about. This helps the reader identify with the writing, as well as create an interesting diversion for the readers that helps retain the interest.
This language is very simple, even those who are not well versed in the language would be able to follow it easily. The flow of the principles is also very well thought out and flows a very logical sequence.
The issue with this book is that it lacks depth. If you have read books on success before, you don’t really learn anything new. Also, the titles are self explanatory so one pretty much gets an idea on what the author is going to write.
If you are just getting into self help, this book might help you.

My views –
I got so engrossed in the book that there were moments when I was staring at nowhere yet was at the juncture towards the success. The book has inspired me so much and made me more closer towards my goals and dreams. It has brought the essential changes in my list of goals which were difficult to make. The power of the book travelled to me through its divine words and strengthened my will to revolutionise my life. To keep your goal list and a crispy piece of paper is quintessential while reading the book. There is so much to grab and ponder upon that any aware reader can’t afford to miss. The book is short enough to finish in 2 hours. But to give it the time less than it deserves is not justified for the book and the reader. The book demands breaks at certain junctures to invest time and energy to bring out the changes in the reader’s journal. The book touched me to the core. I am feeling blessed I got to read it. My life would have been less fulfilling then. It made me visit my world of goals. It fuelled me to utmost high levels of inspiration and motivation. There are no grammatical errors and misprints. Inspirational quotes from wise thinkers and achievers are interspersed throughout the book making it more and more appealing. The words centre on the principles of real success. To read this book is to walk down the fairway of success. Rich vocab words are used throughout the content.
Negative feedback –
I found the cover of the book not apt enough to carry the message of the book. The icon on the cover would have better suited the book highlighting mutual success and cooperation of individuals. While the content of the book throws light upon individual success. Ratings –
