This companion to Creative Visualization details the practical technique of using mental imagery and affirmation to produce positive life changes. In each meditation, the author describes specific images and directs the listener through the meditation process.

I liked a few things about the audio recording of this book (which is a companion for the original book by the author). 1) The audio is short, just an hour or so, which is fine for this sort of work. 2) The author's voice is quite relaxing and easy to listen to, 3) There's a large variety of practices in this short work 4), It's easy to listen to this just chilling out on the floor, without having to use too much brain power. Some of the affirmations may work for people, but some of the affirmations can sound a bit too cheesy and new-agey for others. There's a few things that could've been better-- 1) The meditations are a little too rushed and quick, the author could have spent a bit longer on easy and during each pointer, 2) There's too much mental focus which can lead to over-thinking things here, and there could've been more of a focus on basic bodily sensations and grounding etc. 3) There actually isn't a lot of 'creative visualization' going on in this work, but rather some explorations around some guided themes. Overall, easy to listen to and can also serve as a sleep accompaniment.
I love these guided meditations! My favourite is the Pink Bubble meditation -- where you envision something you truly desire and send your wish off into the universe to start manifesting and the energy centre meditation. I listen to one almost every night.

Thy kingdom come. Let the reign of divine Truth, Life, and Love be established in me, and rule out of me all sin; and may Thy Word enrich the affections of all mankind
A mighty oak tree standing firm against the storm, As sunlight scatters the shadows of night A river nourishing the land it flows through
I wasn't sure what to expect with this book. That said, I did get some useful information from it to help me with the concept of visualization. Easy book to get through. Useful for someone working on visualization.
A series of guided meditations that have you imagine visuals during said meditations. Nothing special but it intrigued me on what the main book was about since this was just a supplement.
I just returned to this book and realized I loved the visuals the author paints in my head. And that, in and of itself, is so much more than many self-help books achieve. Gorgeous.
A decent audiobook. I had trouble sleeping during a long car ride and listened to this. Probably the most relaxed and peaceful sleep I've had in a while after a bit of this.
This audio book is very helpful. The author, herself reads this book. Unlike many authors, she is a very capable reader of her work. The suggestions in this book are effective, useful, and easy to do. The author recommends journaling exercises, meditations, and affirmations in order to manifest your goals. Her meditations are very relaxing and straightforward. The visualizations really help the listener to manifest. This books shows the power that is in our thoughts and intentions. And this power is within each of us.
This audiobook changed my life. I have been using these visualization techniques since it was on TAPE! It has been so meaningful to my life in a thousand ways. I have never found a better guided meditation. There isn't one, that's even with that cheese balls music in the beginning. Love me some Shakti Gawain!
A hope-filled and optimistic book about how to improve one's negative thought habits and consequently one's life. I just finished it but I'm started over again at the beginning. This time I will try doing the exercises as I go through it more slowly... Read again 9/6/16 Great stuff.
Learned how to ground myself and run energy as well as ask for and receive help from my inner Higher Power, aka Holy Spirit to me. Great visualizations to meditate.
the audio book meditations were fine, even helpful, but the lecture bits were odd and goofy at times and the music was dated and the smooth sax made my teeth hurt
