I've been playing guitar for longer than I care to remember! But the times I've spent playing guitar with friends, singing around a campfire, and eventually playing in church, have been some of the richest moments in my life. Music draws us together, and the right music lifts our hearts and souls higher, to a place that reminds us of who we truly are and where we are destined to be.
Some time ago, I knew I wanted to write a book about learning to play guitar, to share the "keys" to learning to play an instrument that I fought to earn. I shelved the idea for many years, and just recently got excited again about doing it because of how "easy" it has become for indie writers to publish and find an audience.
I also have written other things (fiction and historical fiction) over the years and I'm working on publishing those as well. I surprised myself a while back when I discovered how much fun it was to craft a story that moves the heart and brings something "beautiful" into the world.
