Short book. Good book. It speaks like a good pep talk for individuals who need some insight on how to approach beginning OR changing a career-path.

Perhaps this is useful if you are looking to start a business or be kin of a freewheeling consultant, but since I was actually looking for help with finding a job, this wasn't of any use to me. The ideas could be good if you are focused on taking an idea and making it into a business opportunity of some kind, but not everyone cares to be that entrepreneurial, nor are all ideas couched in economics. I found it rather vague and distasteful, but then again, it just doesn't match my worldview. If it matches yours and you have an idea inside you burning to come to fruition in the marketplace, this might prove inspirational.

Changing your thoughts on landing your dream job

Changing your thoughts on landing your dream job

Your resume is only as good as its owner. If you can't show what is there then why would they hire you. This book helps the reader rethink their life to being more outgoing and demanding of the life they dream of. Leaders are looking of other leaders, people who have initiative and drive to get things done. Don't work for them work for yourself and they will see a hard and dedicated worker who they will keep into the future.

Brief but beneficial. Nicely done!!!

Very concrete and practical tips adaptable into several potential industries. One of the high points was the advice to change “marketing” to “serving others!” Superb substitution that should expand engagement with a “needy” world. Go get ‘em!

A mis-titled, rah-rah book about living the good life now. It offers no examples or organization. Worse, it is completely out of touch with real unemployed people struggling to make ends meet.

half an hour read for people looking for self employment. This is not a guide to ride resumes but a action plan on how to get hired. Primarily a adverttisement for the website of the authour.

Fast Moving

It is a pleasure to read a book that succinctly says what it has to say.

- The author is enthusiastic about his life trajectory.

- He exhorts us to be enthusiastic about what excites us, to do things for the right reason instead of just to put a bullet point on a resume.

It is a real pleasure to be retired and never think about writing a resume or engaging in a job interview.

Honestly I thought that the writing came of kind of disjointed and it didn't flow. The information is more about lifestyle picking than finding a job, maybe that was my assumptions rather than how it was presented.

In theory, some of the ideas were good, but putting them into practice is a different story. As the reviewer below me said, out of touch with many unemployed people.
