It surprised me when I enjoyed this book! First off, I am not doing an MLM/Network Marketing because I have to but it’s because I enjoy it – another shocker for me! I do feel like the MLM that I am involve in (dōTERRA) is quite different than most. I say this because they are products that literally everyone can use and, because of the issues that these essential oils can help with, people buy them at least monthly. They are also super easy to just share, so there’s no selling involved – only education; which, Worre does say is the main point to all Network Marketing and I couldn’t agree more.

There are several things that I loved about this book. It’s written in a clear manner that is easy to understand. I like how Worre is honest and upfront and enjoyed his personal stories as well. Because I didn’t purposely get into Network Marketing for employment reasons, I never really thought about how great of a career path it really is for people who, like me, enjoy freedom! There is no boss, no commute, no alarm clock, no employees, no politics (amen!), no compromises, discrimination and no pre-set skills or education is really required (although you all know I am very pro-education). It allows you to stay home and be the room parent still or travel until your heart is content. I love the flexibility of it and I love that I set my own results by the number of hours I dedicate to it. The other benefits he mentions are: great product, unlimited/residual income, enjoy the people you work with (I love this part!), time freedom, personal growth, low risk, low or no startup costs, tax benefits, fun. Worre then discusses typical job categories and shows us how Network Marketing is superior to all of them. I especially like how he points out that people like myself who hate politics have a hard time advancing in the traditional workforce, which is true in my experience. His quote, “The best way I know to not only survive, but to thrive in the New Economy, is Network Marketing. There are important products and services in the world today that need to be promoted to the people who need them. Consumers still need to be educated. Companies have choices. They can dive into the ever-fragmented world of advertising to get the word out, they can hire a large and expensive sales force to sell their products or services, or they can utilize Network Marketing to tell their story to the world. More and more companies will choose Network Marketing because it fits the New Economy. They can provide all the corporate support and pay distributers on a purely performance basis to promote their products. It’s extremely efficient because in the New Economy, word-of-mouth advertising continues to work better than any other form of promotion….you can receive all the benefits of traditional business without the typical risks. And there will be no cap on your income, because Network Marketing companies WANT you to make as much as possible.”

He then points out the one “catch” to Network Marketing. “You must accept temporary loss of social esteem from ignorant people. That means for a while, people still living in and trying to function in the old system will think less of you. They won’t understand. They’ll think you’re crazy for being involved in Network Marketing...” he goes on to explain his logic more, which is spot on in my opinion for most companies. I have only been doing the business side for 3 months and have only contacted 3 people directly to ask them if they’d like to do the business side. I contacted these 3 people because I know them well and I know they would be great at it and I also think they would enjoy the financial benefits as well. The rest of my team has joined on their own, without my provoking. And of all the people I have spoken with, only one person has flat out said their reason for not using dōTERRA is because it’s a Network Marketing company and they would never do such a thing. I didn’t get my feelings hurt (well maybe a little because it is me we’re talking about) and thought, “Yea, I thought the same thing!” and in my head I know this person is missing out on so much, but that’s their decision. Worre discusses people with this mentality and how you can talk to them about it. He says that most people feel this way because they have seen too many people fail or, they themselves have already tried it and failed. I can see that. He has great tactics on how to talk to people about it again. For me, I am not concerned with the few people who don’t want to do an MLM company. I feel sad that they are missing out on the best products I have ever used and residual income and the chance to build their own business in the comfort of their homes because most people would enjoy the extra income – I know I do! I suppose if I were doing this for the income I would focus like Worre suggests as he makes great points! I like how he points out that Network Marketing is “not rocket science, but you’ll be happy to know it’s one of the highest paid skill sets in the world.” I enjoy hearing that and, after being involved for even 3 short months, I can definitely see why people do it and why companies do it too. It’s a great choice for both parties. And the income potential is phenomenal, I do agree there too!

Worre goes into detail and has great ideas on how to set up your professional business. I won’t go into all that as it’s in the book but I enjoy how he realizes you can’t be pushy or annoying but just be there! Use the tactics he uses and learn from his mistakes so that you don’t do make the same ones he did. He then focuses more in depth on things you can do to grow your organization and ways to do it so that the organization will grow itself with the least help from you.

He talks about “rules” and steps to being a professional instead of a “poser” as he calls it. These are great and so simple – anyone can do it. I think his tactic of calling people is great too, but luckily with dōTERRA I don’t find myself having to do that at all. In fact, with dōTERRA there are a lot of things that other MLMs would need to do as he says but I don’t. I can simply give someone a 60 cent or so sample of something and say, “try this” and they almost always come to me instead of vice versa. But I can still utilize his information because I can see how it would work. And, if you’re involved in another type of MLM, I can see it really working. He goes into detail of what to say when people object and gives specific examples of what to say and what not to say – they are great! Especially the parts about being asked, “Is this a pyramid scheme?” that always makes me laugh! And the part about “bothering friends,” which is funny as well. If your product is great, are you really bothering your friends by helping them get rid of their allergies or getting them to use safer alternatives to traditional medicine? No! You’re helping them out! They may not see it that way at first, but once they realize it, they will thank you for introducing you to it.
I really enjoy Worre’s ideas on what to do when a new distributor joins! Great ideas throughout this book on how to make things duplicable. He has a portion of the book dedicated to the importance of events too, which I find exciting! I look forward to going to some of these things and I enjoy his perspective on them for sure. One of my favorite parts of the book is this funny truth, “If a person starts a tradition business, they expect to break even in their first few years and possibly pay back their initial investment in the first five years. But when a person starts a Network Marketing business, they expect to get their money back in the first month, make a profit in second month, and get rich by the third month. And when that doesn’t happen, they blame Network Marketing! It’s like people don’t want the laws of business world to apply to Network Marteing. We DO have a better way, but we’re not selling magic beans here. Anything of value takes time to develop.” Now that is the truth for sure! Yes, you can get rich in Network Marketing! No, it won’t happen by itself or in the first few months (not usually at least!). Worre gives more formulas on realistic expectations. I know dōTERRA publishes their average incomes and I was shocked by them and expected them to be exaggeratory. I am pleased to find out they are indeed spot on – at least in my experience and those around me as well.

All in all, this is a great book. Granted, it’s the only book of its kind I have read thus far but I really enjoyed it. I gained so much and will definitely use it as a reference for sure. And I recommend it to anyone who is in an MLM or even slightly considering one. I recommend it for anyone who wants a better, more free lifestyle and the ability to earn what they want. With the right MLM, you can still work your full time job and slowly convert over to full time MLM or make what you were making full-time doing part-time MLM. The options are as limitless as the potential income! Anyone who knows me knows me of all people would never have recommended an MLM to anyone even 6 months ago! But, like Worre says, it is because I only know people who aren’t that successful with them. I had a preconceived notion of what they entailed and had I ever taken the time to really learn about them, I may have changed my tune. It’s funny because I got into dōTERRA with the sole purpose of using them to help the health of my own family. And, like most, signed up with the intent to never sell. But when I realized I am not selling but education and teaching, which has always been a passion of mine, I realized I thoroughly enjoy it! In three short months, I have a team of 25 people! It’s crazy to me because I don’t work on it that much (but yes, I did work!). I am excited to see how we grow when I really start putting effort into it! I am excited to have more resources such as Worre’s book as well!

EDITED TO ADD that now I have been "network marketing" for almost two years and I am SO THANKFUL that I decided to just go for it! I can't believe how amazing it is to just have a residual income check EVERY month, whether I work or not! And how much my checks have grown in two years is just crazy to me. Truly, had someone told me this a few years ago I would have rolled my eyes and thought (maybe even out loud) "Whatever" and went back to "real" work lol. Ah, so much can change when you just educate yourself, take a leap and go for it with products that you are head over heels in love with because they work! I thoroughly enjoy sharing and teaching about the oils and have re-read this book twice over the two years! Can I say it again? Read this book! Follow his advice and you CAN do this thing!

I am a Beachbody coach, and we read this book together on my team.

If you are in a MLM (multi-level marketing) or Network Marketing home-based business, this is a MUST read!

This is what sets apart a hobby from a career. Extra cash from income.

And in the case of Beachbody coaching, helping a couple people from starting a chain reaction of a ripple effect to help TONS of people.

It's practical, applicable to most or all network marketing things, and is fantastic at outlining successful strategies without being creepy/salesy/money grubbing, the way that a lot of network marketers can be!

It's also a great resource for anyone considering a career in network marketing. I am going to be purchasing several for my new members of my team!

So many people recommended this book to me when I joined Younique, and all of the reviews I read said they wished they'd read it sooner. Yet still it took me 6 months to get around to it. Guess what? I wish I'd read it sooner.

A very valuable perspective on the Network Marketing profession and tactics for changing your mindset and language to achieve success. Clearly written and easy to comprehend, Worre has a way of being very persuasive while educating (not selling!), which is in essence the nature of the profession. I've learnt many valuable things from this book, and believe they will contribute to the success I WILL see from my business. Damn it I will! ;)

This book is basically an infomercial. I've read almost every single marketing book there is and can gain something from most of them, although you see a lot of similar patterns, which is to be expected. The writing is mediocre at best. The only thing I got from this book is an advertisement to buy into the rest of his program, which I've attended - and didn't gain anything from either. I'm honestly not really sure how he continues to do so well in network marketing, there are much better speaker and trainers available with much better information. This book is a reflection of the only thing he teaches... how to buy more of his stuff. He's the typical - if you can't do, then teach (or sell that you can teach)

Perhaps the biggest draw that I have so far with some of the better personal development books out there is how the author's are brutally honest about their life path. The really good ones talk about how, in most cases, they were at rock bottom at a point in their life.

In a sense, it isn't that the Networking Model was the solution, but that they took control of their lives and TOOK OWNERSHIP of their lot in life. This entais:

a. a brutally honest look at one's strengths and weaknesses
b. an understanding that no one ever successfully just sells ... they attract people to them because they invested in the relationswhips.
c. they had a passion are willing to follow it
d. they want to share and truly make others' lives better

With respect to the networking business model, he is right. The economy of today and the future WILL BE compensation for value supplied.

The underlying message of this book is as important as the individual nuggets of success that he delineates; and that is, no one but each of us are responsible for our lot in life. There are so many key guidelines he brings out. Some of those that ring true with me most are:

a. We need to get our people as independent from us as soon as possible.
b. We need to be consistent, day to day in what we do.
c. Probably most importantly to me though is that "Anything Worthwhile Takes Time"
d. I believe he categorized the main points that we wanted to make well, in his 7 skills:

1. Finding prospects
2. Inviting
3. Presenting your product or opportunity
4. Following up
5. Helping your prospects become customers or distributors
6. Helping your new distributor get started right
7. Promoting Events (Interesting chapter)

The KEY once finshed reading is now we incorporate the new lessons we have learned into our processes and plans and approaches. If we don't do that, the reading of the book will have been a waste of time.

I could go on and on. I strongly recommend this book. It is surprisingly short, but succinct.

This is a fantastic book about how to become a successful salesman. Passion, discipline, empathy, all this and more is reinforced by constant repeating page after page. However, some things inside this book gave me the shivers. The idea that it is better to become an MLM pro than studying. This make sense if the only thing you want is money, which lead me to other thing that I found surprising: the constant linking of wealth to money, as if it were the only thing valuable. The other most valuable thing that the book portrays is the network. The book reinforces the idea of having business contacts as friends, of consuming everything MLM has to offer and almost nothing more, of delving into cultish behavior as the source of happiness and success.

The book also sells the idea of how becoming a successful salesman not only help you, but is the key tool to help others. How going pro is about helping others by making them independent from you and obsessed with classic capitalism.

This is an interesting twist of the self-helping book, but only if you are interested on how to become a professional salesman. Not my kind of literature, and not my life option.

A must read for any salesperson, not only Network Marketers. It will help you to plan your approach to any clientele that you would like to do business with where meeting in person might come in handy whether it is to land a new account, or to leverage the relationship to gain access to another relationship. It has great advice for developing friendships with the people you meet and how to approach them with the solutions to their inefficiencies, and if your product, service, or opportunity can solve their problem so much the better. But it is clear that you should be genuinely interested in other people and give value firstly in any capacity that you are able to. The tactics in this book are excellent at opening doors to opportunities. visit Learnandrich.com/GoPro for a more detailed review of the book.

A good teacher takes concepts and breaks them down and explains them so that EVERYONE can understand.

Eric Worre did a great job at breaking down marketing in a way that explains how to talk to people. That is mostly what it comes down to. Being approachable. Being relatable. Listening to others. Finding out what their needs are and helping them fulfill it.

I will definitely be going back and re-reading this a couple of times! :)

(The English review is placed beneath the Russian one)

е. практики MLM.

It is amazing that such an empty and useless (from my point of view) book has so many rave reviews. The book is useless both from the position of explaining what network marketing is and how you can improve your skills, i.e., how to become better and more professional in this field. In essence, the book is a poorly designed MLM advertising brochure.

As is often the case, the author starts by writing about the futility of all ways of making money - blue and white collar, investors, and so on. The problem is that the author doesn't explain his method. Therefore, a person who has never encountered this type of selling will not understand anything. The author doesn't explain his method. You get the feeling that the author is talking about a sales career, only more independent. However, from this book, the reader will not learn how to "close" deals, i.e., how to become a successful salesperson. And this is the second problem I wrote about in the beginning - the author's empty words. There is a lot of twaddle in the book and practically no specifics. The author only promises "golden mountains" and that's it. If a person does not succeed, then, according to the author, he just did not try hard enough.

What do we get in such a case? The author does not explain what MLM is and why this activity is better than all other ways of earning money. But most importantly, the author does not say why this method of distribution is not used by the vast majority of companies around the world. For example, why doesn't Zara or Sony sell their goods using MLM if it is so effective, as the author assures? Why is this method of trading considered a pyramid scheme, which is mentioned even by the author himself? Further, the author does not explain how to become an effective salesperson. Moreover, the word product/service does not appear in the book at all. How can this be if the author convinces us that it is about business? The only word the author uses is the word hire. It turns out that the whole business is not about selling any product but about hiring employees or rather recruiting people. But that's not what business does. Business sells goods or services, but the author says nothing about that. Then where and how does the money, i.e., profit, come from? The author doesn't talk about that. Therefore, it is impossible to understand the business model that the author promotes if you have not encountered it before.

As for the two recommendations on how to convince other people to watch some promotional materials recorded on DVDs and then share their feedback, this is a banal way of manipulation. And in the context of the whole book, such methods look pathetic.

In the audio version of this book, there is an excerpt from the author's speech at some meeting, but there is nothing else in this speech except a set of pompous words. I do not understand why this speech should have been included in this book.

Bottom line: one of the most useless books on business, for even if the reader wants to understand MLM, this book will not be able to help him. This book is analogous to idle chatter and only convinces me that MLM is a highly questionable way to make money. These questions are also not disclosed, as well as the author says nothing about the ethical side of this business, i.e., the practice of MLM.

I cannot recommend this book to my fellow network marketers highly enough. It is an absolute must-read. I listened to the audiobook from Audible and let me tell you, it gets to the information quickly and tells you exactly what to do in order to build a business. Once I started applying what the author teaches, my business was transformed. I no longer dread prospecting. I love it. I know what to do. I have confidence and a long-term vision like never before.

Do yourself a favor and read this book as soon as you can. It is worth your time.

Must-read book if you are trying to be a network marketing.
Here are the quotes that i found really good:
- In the future, you're only going to be paid for performance. You won't be paid for your time anymore.
- The New Company needs fewer people, so the company has more people competing for fewer and fewer jobs.
- Technology and efficiency are eliminating jobs every single day, and there is nothing we can do to stop it.
- To survive, they'll need to open their eyes to this reality and find something new.
- You must accept a temporary loss of social esteem from ignorant people. The people who embrace this get paid BIG money. Companies will pay unlimited amounts to people who can help blind people see, who can educate the ignorant, and who can build a community of like-minded people.
- Reality is reality, and I'm going to do everything possible to help people understand fact.
- Professional: a person who is paid to undertake a specialized set of tasks and to complete them for a fee.
- Network Marketing Professional : a person who is an expert at the skills required to build a large and successful Network Marketing Organization.
- Ignorance on fire is better than knowledge on ice : it's better to be excited and ignorant than it is to be apathetic and smart.
- Enthusiasm is great, but eventually you need to marry that passion with skill.
- There are three primary elements to your Network Marketing Business: you have the company's products. Second, you have the company's compensation plan, Three, YOU.
-I'm going to build my business and I understand one thing: It begins and ends with me.
- They weren't hunters. They were more like farmers, they built relationships. They built friendships. They learned how to build trust with the people they met and were able to skillfully transfer the belief they had about their products and opportunity.
- Their initial objective was to educate their prospects on what they had to offer and then let those prospects decide if it was something they wanted to do.
- Our job is to educate people and help them understand what we have to offer. We act as consultants offering suggestions on how people can live a better life. If you focus on getting a customer or new distributor, you'll constantly be disappointed and you'll find your prospects running away from you. If you focus on education and understanding, you'll have fun and your prospects will enjoy the experience.
- Enthusiasm is contagious. Your positive emotion will translate into better results.
- Be yourself, but be a bolder self. Be Yourself, but be a stronger self.
- In Network Marketing, it doesn't matter what works. It only matters what duplicates.
-If you succeed in this business, it's going to be you who creates that success, not me. And, if you fail in this business, it's going to be you who creates that failure, not me. You are going to be the difference between success or failure. I'm here to guide you every step of the way, but I can't do it for you. I'm here to work with you, but not for you.
- They needed to build a business. I could be a resource, but I couldn't do it for them. My job is to help you become independent from me as quickly as possible.
- If you want to be successful in Network Marketing, you must learn to set that fear aside. Here's why: It's very difficult to look good and get better at the same time. Instead of being afraid of how you look as you're learning and growing, be afraid of not taking action and living a life at a fraction of your potential.
-Make a plan, do your plan, review your results, good or bad, to see how you can do better next time, ma ke a better plan, do that better plan, review those results, good or bad, to see how you can do better next time. Never stop applying plan-do-review and you'll eventually become an expert through trial and error.
-If you want to really master something, teach it to others. Teaching burns a groove in your brain like nothing else can.
-Law of Association: You'll become the average of the 5 people you spend the most time with. You'll think how they think, act how they act, talk how they talk, and earn how they earn.
-1. I've disassociated with the people who were toxic to my life. Some people will keep you down permanently. 2. I've limited my associations with negative people / people who weren't helping me grow in the direction of my dreams. I've just learned to spend less time with those people and more time on positive influences. 3. I've worked to expand my associations with people who can help me become a better person and a better professional.
- Find someone who will push you. Find someone who will inspire you.
- It's okay to dream big, but you also have to be patient. Anything of value takes time. Continue to develop your skils. Become a permanent student. Those skills will make a place for you for the rest of your life.
-Network Marketing isn't about luck, timing, positioning, or signing that magic person who will make you rich. Freedom is possible, but it isn't free. It will take hard work to stay consistent when the world tries to distract you. It will take hard work learn the skills required for long-term success. It will take hard work to become the leader you were meant to be.
-Freedom means having choices. It means living the life I want to live instead of the life other people want me to live.
- To know that you've helped another human being and to be able to see the results- it's an unbelievable feeling.
-This profession is an incubator for personal growth: learn how to face your fears, how to solve problems, how to feed your mind with positives and protect your mind from negatives, how to grow stronger, how to lead.
- Decided to focus on myself and my skills instead of all things I couldn't control, and then everything became clear.

I really enjoyed reading Go Pro, Eric Worre really outlines the basics and what it takes to become successful in the Network Marketing Industry.
The secret really is hard work and consistency.
I love how he broke down the money making activities to help you stay focused and on task.
Everything he talks about just makes so much sense and it really is about stepping out of your comfort zones.
I'll definitely be looking into more of Eric Worre's trainings as they just make sense to me.
I love how down to earth he seems, and how open he was in sharing his own mistakes when getting started in the profession.
I would definetly recomend Go Pro to anyone trying to start or grow their own Network Marketing business, regardless of what company they are working with. The points can be used with any.

An easy read. I didn’t like networking marketing promo and concept at all, however some methods described are good tips in whatever situation (even getting a job done at corporate work).

Though this is repeated in many writings, will leave a very relevant quote here for my future ref. - if to take one thing from the book, this would be mine:
“You’ll become the average of the five people you spend most time with. <…> anout every 6 months, one of the people in your five will change. <…> The secret is, when that happens, choose very wisely when you’re thinking about who’s going to take their place. Most people don’t think about this at all. They just let the next person fall into that place. That’s a big mistake. Find someone who will push you. Find someone who will inspire you.”

Wenig Inhalt. Keine Leseempfehlung. Leider zu viel „Geschwafel“ mit wenig Praxis-Ansätzen.

Awesome. Tackling a new industry this came as a recommended read. Power backed book that I will always go back to. Stresses the importance of making a decision, having the correct mindset and positioning yourself for success. The memory jogger, list and principle associated with duplication are earmarked as invaluable.

Note: I know I will continue to revisit this book.

Go Pro is one of the most recommended “personal development” books in the network marketing business, and I can see why. I read it at the recommendation of my upline Beachbody coach, and I’m really glad that I did.

Go Pro gives simple, easy-to-follow suggestions and steps on how to build your network marketing business. Some of it is a bit repetitive, and some of the steps may work better in some industries than others, but overall, I found it to be a very helpful guide.

When I finished reading (er, listening to) it, I was feeling inspired and raring to go. I definitely plan on listening to it again.

Eric Worre narrates his own book, and it took me a bit to get into it. He actually read surprisingly fast, so I had to slow it down for a while until I got used to it. Then I was able to go back to normal speed.

If you’re in or interested in network marketing, I would highly recommend reading Go Pro!

Was there anything about really honestly selling the products you market. Naah, just create a big network and money will follow.

The basic problem with these is the fact that when you have loads of middlemen you end up with super low price-quality ratio. I know people in network marketing but I dont know people using their products.

This book is about making a huge network by sucking up to people and calling that honest. Superficial.

Use these tricks and lose peoples respect. I guarantee this.

This book is awful. The initial pitch to show network marketing is better is not researched or well thought out its more of a hard sell. The respect I have for friends in this profession decreased based on this so called thought leaders expertise. The sections about network marketing being the future of economic growth also assumes that all jobs are going to shit whereas the reality is different and the advancements we are making will eventually bring forth smarter generations. Don't recommend this book for anyone.

I listened to the audio which is less than 3 hours so easy to do while on 'the run'.
Like any of these books, there are always pieces that are great take-always and others that may not work for you. All in all, I enjoyed learning about what he thinks makes someone successful in NM. My biggest criticism is that his steps are all based around F2F meetings or phone calls, which although is great in an ideal world, we now live in a social media one and so adapting those steps to social media would appeal to more people and give his 'system' more longevity.

I think this book has the objective add more people to writer's company. Contains some good points, however, it is a big sell. I don't understand why the people rate the book as good in amazon.

I don't believe in network marketing that writer mention at the end, I think the most important thing is work to make a better product or service, now a days the technique of mouth to mouth is very effective, but the product's quality is very important too.

One of the best books that i have read in a long time, filled with amazing information, techniques and realistic claims about the network marketing profession. It is an invitation to be a professional in this business and to be able to achieve anything we want from it. A must read for networkers who want to become professionals.
