This really follows on from the previous edition of "How stuff works" - as you can imagine new questions, new technology, new images come along that beg the question - how do they do that - and this book tries to answer it - like the first volume it does in places look a little dated (there is only a year between the two books although both are over 10 years old) the subject matter is still fascinating.
