This is a short book written by Billionaire John M. Huntsman Sr. As the title of the book suggests, it is a book that discusses developing good character and integrity. In it, he discusses examples in his own life of deals where he could have taken advantage of people; however, he notes that the advantages of the same would have been temporary. An example of this is when he was doing business dealings in Thailand, and apparently, it is standard practice for companies to give kick backs or bribes to government officials to do business in this country. On hearing of this he withdrew his business interests, even though this hurt his company financially and would lose money, he counted his integrity and character to be of greater value. To conclude the story, the Asian market collapsed at some point, and he ended up saving a fortune by doing the right thing. He says, "There are, basically, three kinds of people: the unsuccessful, the temporarily successful, and those who become and remain successful. The difference, I am convinced, is character."

This was a great book to remind one of the importance of character, ethics and integrity in personal and business dealings.
