While I'm not quite finished this book yet, it's safe to say this perhaps the most interesting technical book I have read. Every chapter in this collection has inspired me! I try to take a break after each chapter to let everything I've read settle in, and really think about how the concepts being presented have the ability change what I do on a daily basis, as well as affect the overall vision of the sites I work on. Inspiring, challenging, and actually pretty down to earth and humorous, this book is a great way to learn more about all the advances being made in the web development and design industries. Good for both experts and novices.

Redesign the Web was an overview about what kind of challenges redesining a website brings to you as a developer / designer and some solutions how to tackle them.

But that is pretty much it. While reading, I had a feeling that I've already read this book because there seemed to be so much of "old news" wrapped in shiny covers.

I wouldn't recommend the book but Smashing Magazine's great blog instead!

Follower of the Smashing community. Read both #1 & #2 and several other eBooks released. Will likely pick up #3.5, after I'm done. Relevant content and insight for software and web development, collaborative input and process in writing and publishing, and quality presentation.
