About the author

Dee Williams grew up in Rotherhithe, East London, and left school at fourteen. After living abroad, she settled in Hampshire with her husband, where she remains active as a fundraiser for breast cancer awareness while staying close to her family.

3.5 stars. This is a lovely post war story and I really did quite enjoy it
Not a higher rating as it's quite unremarkable but enjoyable none the less

If you are fan of Family sagas, especially post war stories, this will appeal. It isn’t really my genre and I found it a bit unremarkable.
