This is only half a book. The entire book has little to no tools and keeps talking about part 2. I listened to the audible version only to get to the very end where the author links to a separate downloadable book. The book essentially talks about limiting beliefs and the power of energy fields and epigenetics. If you want the tools, then this book won’t have them and you can just download part 2, which was very frustrating to listen to 3 hours of a book only to be redirected to a downloadable pdf.
Programmed to Fail was (to me surprisingly) interesting and inspiring. I Brandon Epstein's personal journey (the first part of the book) was a page-turner. I found it moving and inspiring. I read the training manual (part two of the book) before embarking on it myself. It feels like a worthwhile prescription to change myself for the better. I am hopeful that it will be impactful. Here goes...
I had been following Brandon for years via the Jump Rope Dudes, but then got the chance to work with him briefly (but with significant results).
The first part of the book is biographical, but it is also the groundwork. The second part (the last 30%) is where you do the work - but don't skip ahead. It will take around eight weeks to finish the last 30% but has the power to transform you if you'll allow it.
Mr. Epstein has written a book that reads like a personal coaching session! I'm enjoying his straight forward, conversational style. The best part is i am learning how to apply paradigm shifts to my own life in practical ways. Definitely worth a read
Incredibly engaging story that shows we have all been programmed to fail in one way or another and then gives you the road map to do something about it.
A friend of mine shared this book with me and I’m so grateful for it. I’m at a time in my life, where I know this book is great to integrate into my life. I love how Brandon has shared his personal journey. I’m excited to jump into the next section of the book. Highly recommend to anyone looking to change their life.
