The third volume in the Minecraft warrior adventure series follows Runt and Blurp on their quest into the Nether to face the impossible task of defeating an Ender Dragon. Cube Kid's bestselling characters come to life for young readers along with fun illustrations from the 8-Bit Warrior Graphic Novel format.
Runt the villager, Blurp the zombie, and Maggie the warrior all have only one to find the portal to the End and to battle the Ender Dragon. This is no easy quest, especially with a fierce warrior like Alberic trying to block their every move. Will our heroes manage to get past Alberic, make their way to the End unscathed, and face the great Ender Dragon? Read on to find out!
The Noob's Diaries are for slightly younger readers than the Diary of an 8-Bit Warrior books; they are 96 pages long, as opposed to 240 pages, and have more pictures and larger text.
It helps to have a working knowledge of Minecraft in order to understand what is going on in these books; I do not. I can see the appeal to younger readers and fans of the game, but struggle to understand the stories.
I have tried valiantly to write coherent reviews of these, but lost that battle today. Elementary libraries will want to purchase these in the sturdiest prebinds available.
