Infantile. Not a single chart to present the concept. I would value one chart more than the sentences like „imagine” or stories about the forest and the land. Collecting a bunch of bullegpoints does not make a book. It is rather a compendium of quantum-related terms than a reliable introduction to the topic.
Quantum Computing Explained: Recommended to Beginners and Advanced Learners
"QUANTUM COMPUTING EXPLAINED FOR BEGINNERS: The Science, Technology, and Impact" contains extensive information!
It felt like a university textbook and was more than 300 pages long. It provided a lot in terms of theoretical information. However, it also offered numerous practical ideas and applications.
I was pleasantly surprised by the broadness of ideas in the book. The book is a must-read for intelligent readers interested in quantum computing!
The book provides a Quantum Toolkit. It gives the reader helpful websites, courses, and tips to build AI and quantum computing skills in their professional career.
Highly relevant are ethics and social implications, and the book excellently covers them. The book read my mind because its words resonated deeply: "Is it ethical to introduce quantum-driven solutions to the public without ensuring a basic level of understanding and informed consent?"
Broad and sufficiently deep coverage of quantum computing for the beginner
The author carefully steps the reader through a broad yet a couple layers of information about quantum computing terms, properties, applications, and more to the point where a reader might decide to pursue a quantum career or step away.
3.5 Good book. However, I found it very repetitive on some parts. I guess for those who have some understanding of the topics behind this book, it is easy to follow. For beginners this is definitely a good start on quantum computing and pick up the initial concepts behind it. P.s.: I listened to the audiobook version.
The topic is interesting, but the author seems to lack an in depth understanding.
The descriptions are superficial, hyperbolic, lacking in depth of detail, and rely upon weak analogies (subterranean caves, submarines, flight) that don’t clarify anything. The text is annoyingly repetitive.
This is an insightful guide! The author makes quantum computing accessible for tech novices. A must-read for anyone ready to ride the wave of the next tech revolution!
I have been doing research on how artificial intelligence AI is related to Quantum computing, this book has very handy in my research, it well explain all aspect in quantum computing with several references to refer to.
The writing is repetitive and unorganized, and the analogies are shallow at best. Regardless, this is (one of) the most accessible books you’re likely to find on the arcane world of quantum computing! - 3/5.
