This book is very detailed and gives you a complete step by step plan for designing any new product from conception all the way through marketing and building your business including proof of concept, prototype development, patents, funding, legal, sales and much more. This is definitely my go to book for business. I especially appreciated the case studies that the author put throughout the book to illustrate his points.
I also loved the quote by James Dyson, “I made 5,127 prototypes of my vacuum before I got it right. There were 5,126 failures. But I learned from each one. That’s how I came up with a solution. So I don’t mind failure.” No matter what you are doing never give up. This is a strong reminder to me that the only way I will truly fail is not to try at all. Very motivational book as well as practical. Even if you aren’t designing a product, there is so much valuable business advice in this book that I highly recommend it to any business entrepreneur.

It's obvious the author has a lot of experience in business success and breaks it down easily for the standard user. This book has some good information about being an entrepreneur. However, it was formatted poorly (much of it looked like one long paragraph) which made it hard to read. If you can get over that, it does have basic information to help you get started.
