I must say that the author of this book tends to write concisely and on the point, which explains why most of his books are short but jam-packed with information. I am happy to say that his latest book, Synthesis of Philosophy, doesn't disappoint.
From the time of this review, the author seems to be taking up his MA philo degree, which explains why he is interested in delving into philosophical topics. These are good ones to start.
What can you expect as a reader:
First, he delves into four main essays. Aesthetics, Plato's Virtue, Consciousness and Global Justice. In each essay, he has a spin on the topic, an original contribution if you will like for example, his idea of Synthetism which uses Hegelian dialectics to synthesize the objective and subjective aesthetic judgments. I think that may have been the reason why he called it Synthesis of Philosophy because this idea is a common theme throughout his book.
I would say though that if you are a casual fan of philosophy, this book is for you, especially for students looking to get into philosophy.
For the price of the book, it is well worth it in my opinion. I enjoyed it so much and learned from his knowledge. Highly recommended author. Happy purchase.
