This was a great read. Adron Smitley has a series of books out on how to write novels, and I'm systematically reading them all. (I'm the type of reader who, upon finding an author I like, I read everything they've written--I just finished reading all of David Putnam's Bruno Johnson Thriller Series and his "Bone Detective" series--all addictive!). Adron Smitley's writing is superb. I have been learning a lot from reading his books. I'll be reading his novels now shortly. Thanks!
I came here hoping for a proper guide to write a novella, which has very quickly become my favorite form of media. Unfortunately, this is full of juvenile humor forcing me to skim the last 50%. The only good take away is breaking it down to ten chapters based on the Save The Cat beat sheet. So, if you get this book, read up to that point and move on to the next one.
