Yet another fast paced enjoyable read! Shotter continues to deliver in this latest collection. Fans of his previous works will no doubt love having a satisfying conclusion to the “Nod/Wells timeline”.

Upon finishing The Spiral and The Threads I couldn’t stop thinking about the major reveals that came to light, as well as how much work had to have gone into weaving the connections throughout all of Shotter’s stories. An impressive feat for sure.

Highly recommended picking up this as well as Shotter’s other works. Once you start you’ll be glad there is a whole “Nod/Wells” universe to explore!

Have you ever wondered how a fictional world might be different if characters made different choices? Well, this is Shotter's version of exactly that, where we see "what if" renditions of faces old and new. While perhaps not the best introduction to Shotter's work for the uninitiated, an excellent expansion of the broader universe as it aptly "spirals" outward in new and unanticipated threads.
