• I didn't know that this is a part of a series. Going to a thorough read, I find a swift journey with smooth word phases, challenges, and advanced relationships. 🍂
• 𝐑𝐢𝐲𝐚 𝐒𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐡, the central character of this story, guides us through challenges and how to manage the situations. She is an army officer! 𝐕𝐚𝐲𝐮 and 𝐑𝐢𝐲𝐚’s arguments are even cute and intense and delicate. 🥀
• But, for sure, I was feeling like this was my story! She hasn't been with any 𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐞 𝐜𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬. Yes, this was 𝐝𝐞𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐲 𝐦𝐞. But what's now? She's getting her butterflies and undoubtedly enjoying the sensations. But she's confused. Is this only a sensation or more than that! 🦋

Usually, when we hear stories and incidents about army personnel, a common scenario always revolves around our heads. Tough physique, hardworking individuals, strongest fights, incredible journeys - these are so common in those cases. Here, we have a twist. An army woman is the protagonist over here. She has her duties and responsibilities alongside a sweet love story that was blossoming. There is love, friendship, romance, duties, and so on. Overall, this short, quick read was good enough for me.

The second part of the story gets even more addictive where Riya's journey is taking an unexpected turn. Riya's struggle between her tough army exterior and her longing for connection feels so real. The new characters introduced here kept me guessing, are they allies, enemies, or something in between? The writing flows effortlessly, making it impossible to put down. And that ending! It changed everything. I thought I knew about the story. Now I'm desperate to start Part III immediately!

This is the second book of the series. It's rare to see chick lit by Indian authors and I was really interested to read this book. Basically the book is about an army officer, Riya. Her journey towards the path of love with her friend and the emotional rollercoaster ride she went through.
It's the writing pace I appreciate the most. I loved how the author managed to run the pace without making it too fast or too slow. Like, the author knew exactly how the readers will enjoy 🤭
Coming to the writing style, another good thing about this. Simple but elegant writing style. A person who is new to reading will enjoy every bit of this book. It's really a simple read and the plot was engaging from the start to the end as well.
Last but not the least, the protagonist of this book, Riya, her character is something I would like to look upon. Strong and independent. So, I really think every girl should give it a read. More than a love search, I would want people to focus on Riya and her capabilities as an army officer.
