If you hear nothing else, hear this...READ THIS BOOK!
Morgan!!! Ma'am. I was not prepared for all of this. First of all, let's just start with the fact that this is a WHY CHOOSE. Her first. And she nailed it.
Vivianne is the younger sister I did not see coming. She's beautiful and lethal. She is strong, but she's also very broken. Life has not been easy for her. But through her pain she found a way to protect herself and others like her. What she did not expect was Volkov brothers. Three alpha men that have their sights set on her. Kaz is sexy and a charmer. Mikhail is the powerful leader. Dmentri he's hot, but he also thinks she's a liar and a thief. Kidnapped and flown to Russia, Vivianne has to figure out if she wants to k!ll, f*ck, or own these powerful men.
Also, complete side note, but when Declan *her brother* shows up in Russia, the interactions between him and these guys is hilarious. I was laughing so hard I was crying.
OOOH! And let me not forget to mention the spice. It's HOT AF. Chefs kiss. Round of applause.

This was my first book by Morgan and it didn’t disappoint! Mafia romance why choose age gap enemies to lovers WHOA THIS WAS SO WELL DONE!! Definitely a must read!!!

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book from Morgan Elliott. I can honestly say I can’t wait to go back and read the first two books of this series!
The characters in this book are completely kickass! I’m in love with Vivianne, she’s a complete badass FMC! This book has everything I love in a book! Why choose - Mafia - Romance - Romance - Reverse Harem - Age Gap

This is the best one of the series. The violence is way over the top, & some of it is badly written, but still enjoyed it.
I’m really shocked. I really enjoyed that. There are some really bad parts that really aren’t well written though. The violence is just way over the top, and some of the sex scenes are awful. I actually skipped this book as I didn’t like Vivienne then I read her sisters book and it was really bad, I’m glad I read this one. The ending leaves a few unanswered questions, never did find out what happened to their money.
Vivienne is the oldest sister to Declan, and the most violent. After something traumatic happened to her that changed who she is, Vivienne sees all men as a waste of her time. When she kills a money launderer who had $5 million of Russian Bratva money, Mikhail the eldest and leader sends Dmitri and Kaz to find out if she has it. After Vivienne kills two of their men they decide to kidnap her and take her to Russia. I’m really not sure why but hey ho. Kaz the youngest is instantly smitten with Vivienne and I’m glad he was as Dmitri wanted to torture her!!
Soon Mikhail and Kaz are in a relationship with Vivienne but Dmitri hates her and wants her out of the house. This is where I didn’t like it, as Vivienne apparently looks like Dmitri’s dead mother. 🤮🤮🤮 Eventually he too falls under spell and they’re soon in a foursome. It felt a bit weird at times to be honest as this author is really bad at writing sex scenes. One thing that really angers me is the a*al scenes. There’s no preparing her and she’s in agony the next day. She would have been in agony while it was happening as they don’t prepare her at all! 😡😡😡
While I enjoyed it, there are a lot of unanswered questions. What happened to the $5 million? Who trashed the money launderers house? It hints that their cousin had something to do with it but never actually confirms it. Vivienne hates their home as it’s cold and uninviting, does she ever change it? I hated the way that Dmitri treat Vivienne and I really couldn’t get on board with their ‘relationship’ at all. He really was going to torture her yet she forgives him. I wouldn’t! Mikhail has a daughter who is a teenager and it doesn’t say how their relationship is at the end. As he didn’t know about her till she was 15 his daughter thinks he did know and didn’t want her. I would have liked to know more about their life in Russia. To be honest it should have been set in America. As they all seem American, as the author can’t write about other countries.

I love a badass heroine. Vigilante? Absolutely! Psycho heroine? If they're done well, I can totally get on board. Right out of the gate the author is ramming down the reader's throat this is who the heroine is, with very little subtlety and certainly no explanation. She alludes to past trauma, which is why the heroine I guess hates all men; all men suck, all men are bad, all men think with their dicks. Sure, sure.
Opening scene is heroine stabbing to death a guy who was trying to blackmail her, seems like a bit overkill- literally she stabs him over and over again. Why is he blackmailing her? Because her sister killed this dude's wife. Why did sister kill dude's wife? No idea. All we know is she was bad news and from chapter two, was a gold digger. Hardly a reason to kill her, but whatever. I'm sure it's explained later, but a little more context when it's happening would make a lot more sense.
Chapter two introduces us to the heroes, who are not in America, so I'm assuming since they are Russian, that they are in Russia. In comes Czar of rival gang wanting to unite the two groups through marriage. I don't read a lot of mafia books, but most of them do have this as a common theme-arranged marriage- gain land, power, alliances, etc. The hero acts like this is the most ludicrous concept he as ever heard in his life. You new to this world, bro?
I knew I was done when the one Russian hero, location (again assuming Russia) speaks to Russian rival and comments on his thick Russian accent. A Russian, in Russia, with a Russian accent? How bizarre.
Evidently other readers liked this book, but it was not for me. If my TBR ever reduces to a doable level I may give this another shot in the hopes it gets better.

First of all, HOLY CRAP! I could not put this book down so I had to read it in one sitting.
Vivienne is such a badass!
The story opens up with her taking care of a man who threatened her sister. Little did she know that he was tied to the Volkov family. Of course they find out and track her down.
Mikhail, Dmitiri, and Kaz are the three brothers of the Volkov family. They are as hot as they are dangerous. Kaz is the first to fall for Vivienne and Mikhail shortly after. Dmitiri has a harder time warming up to her due to his own dark past. He keeps her at an arms distance until he just can’t stay away anymore. Eventually they all fall in love with her.
Vivienne has suffered through a hard early life. She was a victim of assault which led her to “taking care of” the worst of the worst in Vegas. Which leads her to her victim when the book starts. She has had to deal with living with the victims guilt that unfortunately is very common in assault.
This story is so beautifully written. The chemistry between all four characters is off the charts! I was so immersed in the story I felt like I was a part of it (slightly jealous of Vivienne). The possessiveness of Kaz right off the rip was so good! But also the way he comforts her and protects her from his brothers. Mikhail has an unquenchable thirst for Vivienne that made my knees weak! And Dmitiri with his broodiness and cold-shoulder towards Vivienne made the build up towards them so much better!
If I could reread this book for the first time again, I would!

I love a good why choose romance but what makes this one stand out to me is the fact that Vivienne is unlike any other FMC I have read about. She is vicious and beautiful. Just like a viper Dmitri compared her to. She is lethal and doesn’t take shit from another. If anyone around her, woman or child, feels threatened she will strike to kill.
Kaz may be a monster to everyone else but as Vivienne says, he is an absolute teddy bear with her and I love it. Mikhail is perfect. He is hot, possessive and dominant. But he will do anything for the woman he loves. Then there is Dmitri. He’s a sexy alphahole. But he is trying to protect himself. He may be a jerk at times but I knew he had a soft center he was hiding beneath the hard exterior.
Honestly if you’re looking for a why choose romance including age gap and enemies to lovers with a healthy portion of darkness in it, this one is for you. Lethal Submission and the Volkov men can check all your boxes, if you know what I mean! Please make sure to check trigger warnings for anything that may bother you. If you can get passed those, then buckle up, Buttercup, because it’s a fun ride.

From the very first page, "Lethal Submission" took me by surprise. I had no inkling that it fell into the coveted "why choose" category—a personal favorite of mine. The allure of multiple love interests adds an electrifying layer to the story.

Lethal Submission was my first Morgan Elliot book even though it was the third in the series. It stated they could each be read stand alone and I can happily state that I had no problem following despite jumping right into the middle of the series. It was also my understanding that this is the author's first why choose book, and she nailed it! It has all the things I love about my favorite category of tropes.
I will say the book itself does not list the trigger warnings so definitely check Amazon for those because it does get really dark. Vivienne is a lethal reality check for all men who can't keep their hands to themselves and honestly in this day and age, we stan such a queen.
So if you like lady vigilantes, unhinged leads, he falls first, mafia, why choose stories... Well obviously you've found your next book

morgan has done it again! I fell in love with the first two books in this series, so obviously I needed to get my hands on the next one in the series. this is my first ever why choose romance and I was not disappointed.
I love that vivienne is such a bad ass in her own right. she isn’t frail or dependent on literally anyone. she’s not scared to take matters into her own hands and is totally fine getting her hands dirty if necessary.
the volkov brothers… good lord. kaz is wildly possessive. mikhail is demanding and dominant. dmitri is as broody as broody gets. did I mention they’re all hot and dangerous? cue the ke$ha song. all of the brothers fall for vivienne at different points. seeing from their pov the moment where they realize their feelings for her was so heartwarming.

if you’re looking for a quick mafia read with a stabby fmc then this book is perfect for you. it’s very instalust/instalove and i think every happened in less than a month? everything happens quick and doesn’t get too deep.
this is a standalone in an interconnected series and i didn’t read the other books before this and didn’t feel like i missed anything.
the ending felt a little weird tho with Mikhail’s daughter and what happened to her and the relationship between the moms. felt like that was thrown in for no reason?

Holy cow, the spice and plot are top tier. Vivi is a total baddie who doesn't take crap from no one, especially a man.
Then the Volkov brothers, oh my! At first, I fell for Kaz and his slightly unhinged personality... I mean, he fell first and hard when he saw her slit the throats of not one but two of his men... but all three have a special bond with Vivi, and each one is different.
This is my 1st time reading anything by this author, but I definitely will be checking out the rest of her books!

This book!!! It was dark,it was brutal and I loved every second of it. Check your TW as there is some dark content but if you are a dark romance girlie like me you’ll love this.
The why choose harem style spice was delicious and made even me blush.
I don’t want to give any of this book away because it needs to be read and enjoyed first hand but let me just say Vivienne is a lucky girl to have those boys but one who is also a boss in her own right!
I’ll definitely be checking more out by this author and I’d give it more than five stars if I could 🥰

This was Vivienne, Mikhail, Dmitri and Kaz‘s story. Mikhail, Dmitri and Kaz, the three Russian Volkov Princes, kidnap Vivi because they think she has something to do with the theft of five million dollars. Putting my love for this book into words is really going to be hard! I am a huge fan of Morgan's & the Wicked Souls series has had me in a choke hold since the first book! In Lethal we get to see the amazing Vivi deal with the trauma of her past and learn to let herself be loved! She never expected to find love & definitely not with 3 HOT as SIN Russia brothers!! This story is a wild ride that I literally could not out down!

Oh Man.
I love me a Psycho fmc. I really enjoyed this book. I do feel like it is unfinished, though.. like there should have been more, especially with Mikhail and Lilianna. Like why bring up the fact that history is repeating itself and not showing that Mikhail has finally been able to bridge the gap with his daughter ? This was a huge reason why I could give this book a 5⭐️ rating.

I adore reverse harems. Let me just start with that. I have read the other books in this series and loved them as well. This one took a few chapters to get into but after that I flew through the rest of the book. If it feels disengaged at first just continue on. If you have no idea what I’m talking about then it’s probably just me. Ugh what I would give to have Kaz, Mikhail, and Dmitri. 🤤🥵

The way Vivienne rangled the volkov brothers should be studied. She had them all eating out of the palm of her hand despite her being a potential enemy. The full circle of her trauma with revenge was beautiful.

I knew I was going to love Viviennes story and I did. Her and the Volkov brothers made my week. I love Vivi as a fmc and defender of women in Vegas and Russia. I cannot wait to read Juliette’s story.

Holy crap you have done it again! You pulled me in from the beginning. I couldn’t put it down! I love this series! I can’t wait to see what you come up with for Juliette and deans story! I love that Vivienne was able to put her nightmares to bed with the help of the Volkov brother’s.

Is anyone else missing chapter 2 of the epilogue? Mine begins with “mikhail “ but then it is blank. The book was so good and I am definitely happy to continue the series! I have recommended this to my friends.

THIS IS MY FAVORITE OF THE SERIES BY FAR.
