Was okay

Pretty sure this won't actually improve the speed of your reading in 24 hours, but there are some useful things to practice.

This book was free on Amazon some time ago, and although I didn't think it really was something for me, I felt like I should give it a try.

Some tips in this book actually seemed to make some sense, like doing certain eye-movement exercises, but I also found that speed reading isn't something for me. I don't like reading in chunks or diagonally, it just doesn't feel good. So, I'll just continue to read as I'm used to (it wasn't recommended anyway for what I really wanted to use it: reading (not always too interesting medical articles)...

I have so many books that I want to read and not enough time to do it. If I can speed read at least I will be able to get a few more books done. Using the methods listed in this book and combining them with others might help. At least these make more sense. Strengthening the eye muscles seems to be the key, then add the techniques have helped. The main key factor is how much YOU want to do it.

Easy read

this was a nice little book.the suggestions were familiar to others that I was aware of.clumping and scanning are two of my personal favorites but I think that anyone can use the techniques in this book to speed up and enhance their own reading.very well done.

Too general... these tricks are rather obvious...

this was a quick read, I spent an hour on this book. this was a good book to rent. I personally think it needed more meat and explanation.

A great subject, and a quick introduction to the concepts of speed reading
However, the writing is of a really low level. The book is much too simple in my opinion.
It's more of a "juiced up" article than a book, if you ask me.

Interesting!

I already have a huge peripheral vision, but I discovered a couple new tools from reading this book.

I am also going to subscribe for a daily crosswords puzzle and a daily vocabulary word.

Most of these exercises are doable.

I am a beginner and was good to know about chunk reading and eye exercises to widen visual parameters. But hand movement is useless for me since I use iPad to read the books.

Only for those who know zilch about speed reading. Very clear and logical. Not a good review if u already know the skill.
