What I particularly appreciate about this book is how it emphasizes the connection between body and mind, specifically focusing on the vagus nerve and its role in regulating stress and anxiety. The exercises are varied and well-explained, providing clear instructions and helpful illustrations that make it easy to incorporate these practices into daily life.

While the book is informative and the exercises are effective, I did feel that some techniques could benefit from more detailed explanations or modifications for different levels of ability. Worth the read and study

This book came into my feed right when I needed it. After reading and learning the movements even before creating a routine, I started noticing a small but very noticeable shift in my presence and awareness while releasing the stress that has built up from so many years of dealing with the pain of all things I have gone through but was never able to work through on my own. I am optimistic that I will be stronger again with the flexibility and mobility my mind-body deserves. Thank you

Insightful and exciting

What a lovely book. I enjoyed reading it and learning new practical ways to heal my anxiety and panic attacks. The exercises are great, and there are many to choose from. Unfortunately, the workbook did not arrive as suggested and was not even in my spam folder.

Excellent guide for beginners

This is a really well written guide for beginners in somatic exercises. It’s not only breathing and physical but also writing exercises. I like the drawings and varied avenues to find the stress relief.

Great book, easy to follow exercise, explained really well. I am looking forward to spending 10 mins a day regulating my nervous system.

Simple, effect, thorough

Some of the photos do not match the description of the exercises, which is confusing. It's a decent enough introduction to somatic practice, but lacks depth.

This book uses the concept of the mind body connection. The movement examples are great to give people the insight needed to help balance mind and body
