A collection of nine excellent stories by Sapper, most of the stories around around twenty pages long, except the last one "The Impassive Footman" which is over eighty pages. One of the stories "The Horror at Staveley Grange" features Ronald Standish, after Bulldog Drummond Sapper's best known hero.
