okay. i admit i'm being a bit impartial, since my friend wrote this book, but i really do think it's a much needed outline of values for the democratic party. instead of being a bunch of wishy washy pushovers that jump to the right with every apparent sway of public opinion, this book discusses a platform that democrats can and should believe in and defend. and despite my ranting from the soapbox that makes it seem otherwise, it's a fun read.

Author makes a lot of excellent points. I really enjoyed this book.
