Valuable Tips
I really appreciated the content of this book and was glad to see it cover so many important topics on how parents can avoid common mistakes. The practical tips were especially valuable. As I read, I couldn't help but reflect on my own upbringing-some of the points reminded me that many Asian parents may not always be open to change. My hope is that more Asian parents will take these insights into consideration within the context of their cultural parenting styles. I also enjoyed the special bonus included with the book and even gained access to Empowering Life Skills-such a clever and valuable way to extend the learning.

Great Structure for Success
I wasn’t sure how I felt when I first started reading the format of the book because it was not the normal book format, but was in the format of categories, then numbered bullet points. That, however, turned in to being amakest format for me to understand things easier. The book provides you with each mistake, then explains how it is negatively or can positively affect your child, then gives you tips on how to change your behavior. The tips were quick strategies and makes me feel like I can make positive changes.

loved the focus on self care
The author created a book that covers a lot of what parents face as they try to navigate parenting. I gave to four stars because it seems a little too simple. I also found it to be repetitive.
I did like that it focused a lot on building and maintaining connections with your kids. The information on managing your relationship with the other parent was especially helpful.

I actually purchased this book for my sister who has a 2 year old. I figured she can prepare a bit now in advance and keep it around. Pretty good tips for parents of moderate aged children
My kiddo is a toddler, and unfortunately, many of the tips seem to be aimed at slightly older children. However, they do provide a good base to build off of, even with toddlers. Hopefully, this guide will help me better understand my son as he grows and be a better overall parent for him
