A fake engagement was supposed to be Desmond's way out of marriage, but that was before he met Jace. Jace tempts him in ways he's never felt before, and the thought of someone else having the omega is enough to drive Desmond insane. They weren't supposed to get married. They weren't supposed to fall in love. The lines of real and pretend have begun to blur, and Jace can no longer deny the feelings growing for his new husband, but when Desmond betrays him, can Jace forgive the Alpha who has stolen his heart? Or will their fake romance end before it even begins?
The Omega Problem duet has an 18+ warning and is intended for mature audiences.
The couple would've been more believable if they were able to keep their hands off each other for one second. Other than being physically attracted to each other I'm not sure why or how Desmond and Jace fell in love.
Desmond definitely had a type. He liked his partner on the bigger side so he could rough them up. I felt like Desmond was in lust with Jace. He liked that Jace could match his energy in bed. This would've been a better story if they had built an emotional connection and a relationship outside of bed.
I loved how well this was tied up in this second novella. Love seeing a different kind of Omegaverse where the Alpha and Omega are both male and there is MPreg possibilities! The character development in this was handled really well and i enjoyed seeing these two perfect for each other men, discover that together.
As soon as I finished part 1, I devoured part 2. It was just so juicy. No matter how they got together, no matter how it was initially "fake", Desmond and Jace just belonged together. I am so glad the story wasn't drug out with a lot of angst. I did want to shake Jace at one point. Glad he came to his senses. Desmind's letter was so heart felt. Sometimes people just meant to be.
This was a good read right up to the end. All the happiness, pain then love. Jace went through it as an Omega and Desmond the Alpha who had everything took what he wanted no matter what until there was no more to take.
This was a wonderful conclusion to this series. While I don't read many books like this I absolutely fell in love with these characters. There was plentynofnsoice and drama to keep me satisfied!
This is where everything goes off the rails because not only do they have to pretend to be fiancées but Desmond’s mother and grandfather decide on an impromptu vacation and then a surprise wedding. Now Desmond and Jace are fake married and Jace is questioning if Desmond’s actions are real of if everything is till fake. The two of them have great chemistry and the most passionate of honeymoons. I love it when they get to know each other more because obviously they can't be that passionate without having some underlying feelings and watching them find their ways to each other is so lovely. Also shout out to Sue and her happy ending.
Book two of the omega problem ended pretty much how you’d expect it to, but I still enjoyed myself.
What happens when the fake dating turns into a fake marriage and the fake feelings start to become anything but? Add in alpha and omega pheromones confusing things even more and you’ve got the recipe for disaster or….a perfect ending.
