I really enjoy Misty M Beller's books, but this one wasn't a favorite. The first half seemed to drag on a little bit. I really enjoyed the last 1/3 and wished that section would have been longer, with a shortened "before" (you'll understand when you read it). I felt like I still had a lot of questions at the end that could have been answered if the focus was placed on the latter part of the novel.

Great Book
This book introduced s its evaders to the actual way of life from the types of men to the adventures they incurred on their journey. Also as the story unfolded it showed the unrelenting struggles and adventures of the settlers along the pony express routes. Showing romance and morals that the early settlers often encountered. Please eat and enjoy as I have.

Fun reread, wonderful story
Characters are very real and captivating. Enjoyable and heartwarming. Shows how we all need to be forgiving and loving to all.

These books are good fluffy reads and every now and again good. But I have read a few too many right now they are getting rather repetitive
