Amazing art, very helpful interviews, super pleasing to look at. Didn't like the percentage of women (about one or two in ten), and the fact that the printing sometimes put the centre of the image (like the central character or the face of the person/creature) in the fold of the pages. That was literally the first thing I learnt is a no-no in art school; unacceptable for an art book to do it so many times. Other than that, I really enjoyed it. Extremely helpful for inspiration and methods.
Absolutely wonderful, fantastic (in both senses of the word) art plus each artist explaining what tools they use, how they approach subjects, etc. V highly recommended if you're learning to art, or just looking for a little inspiration.
A great selection of Fantasy artists and art but not terribly much in the way of information. Best intended as a coffee table book to peruse for visual inspiration. The actual text is a little skin-deep.
This is a fantastic peek at the creative processes of some very talented artists. There is a lot of information on mediums, papers and utensils as well. I recommend this for fellow creatives.
