Welcome to the world of M.C. FRANK's books, where characters aren't going to have an easy time of it: They will find themselves in icy-cold dystopian worlds where kissing is forbidden (among other things), or in green forests ruled by evil Sheriffs. If they're in Jane Austen's England, they have to be running away from a traumatic childhood, or if they are in our contemporary world, they're scared they'll die before they have finished high school. That sort of thing.
Don't worry, though, she knows we all need a little hope and joy in our lives, so there's a good dose of those as well in everything she writes.
M.C. Frank (writer, reader, designer, physicist and teacher, to name a few) has been living in a world of stories ever since she can remember (that's before she knew how to write). She started writing them down when she could no longer stand the characters in her head screaming at her to give them life, and while those first scribblings weren't exactly good (nor were they books, although she insisted on calling them that), they were enough for her to discover her passion in life.
She got her university degree in physics a few years ago (yes, she's like Sheldon, only a bit crazier!) and is now free to pursue her love of reading and writing, as well her free-lance job as editor-in-chief. She lives with her 'dude' in a home filled with candles, laptops and notebooks, where she rearranges her overflowing bookshelves every time she feels stressed.
Which is often, since (as you might have noticed) she doesn't pick the easiest subjects for her novels.

‘Every Wrong Wright’ is the next book from the Outlaws series by M.C. Frank, featuring the world’s most beloved robber - Robin Hood, along with his merry companion, like you’ve never seen them before. The action starts right where the first book: ‘Everything I Do’, ended (though I highly recommend reading the novella ‘Hood’ in between, as it contains important information about Robin’s past, which sheds more light on events presented in EWR) - the outlaws are on their way to complete an important mission, willingly risking their own lives to help the poor, oppressed by the ruthless Sheriff. Ru has been accepted as on of them, but still no one has a clue what -or who- she's really after. She's running out of time and whatever choice she makes, some wrongs can never be made right.

If someone asked me to describe this book using just one word, it would be: EMOTIONAL. I’ve loved Robin and Ru since book one, they’re both such complex characters who suffered too much and I wish with all my heart for a happy ending for them, so it was painful to read what they’re going through, but I love it when a book tortures me like this. The POV alternates between those two characters, so we can see what’s going on in their heads and hearts, and let me just tell you - there’s a lot going on! Feelings of guilt, pain and hatred are mixed with love, tenderness, hurtful memories and fear for their loved ones. M.C. Frank has mastered the art of writing about emotions in such a beautiful and believeable way, it's easy to forget those characters aren't real. I was also amazed how she managed to push their relationship forward, even though Robin still doesn't know who Ru really is. I think it was my favourite chapter!

I said it in my previous two reviews, but I have to say it again - I love how Frank portrayed the whole group of Robin’s companions, how the word ‘friends’ doesn’t even begin to cover their relations. They’re like a family, an extremely close family, which members deeply care for each other, where they always have each others’ backs and would give their life for one another without a second thought. Their conversations, both playful and serious, are some of my favourite parts of this book and the whole series.

While inner struggles of Robin and Ru play a huge role in EWR, the book is not devoid of action, so if you like medieval-style fight scenes, you won’t be disappointed. The book also shows that not every battle is fought using swords and arrows, but sometimes words can be a powerful weapon, too.

‘Every Wrong Right’ is truly a great book, which not only breaths new life into the legend of Robin Hood, but also conveys a beautiful message, especially important in those strange times we’re living in. I recommend the whole Outlaws series with all my heart and I’m impatiently waiting for the next book!

Frank has done it yet again! I was absolutely in love with the continuation of this Robin Hood retelling! It was nice to get more backstory of our characters and bond with them more. The story she weaves really does captivate me and I have yet to be disappointed by one of her stories. So you should definitely check it out! Cause I can’t wait to read the next one!!!

Frank has done it yet again and she brings forth our favourite characters and gives us a mission that we didn’t know we could ever be a part of. Robin’s past, along with Ru's, becomes more apparent as we find out more and more about their lives before now in a series of flashbacks.
I strive to find things I like and dislike about books, most often to give constructive feedback to the author before the book comes and to see where there could be more development for the book and so on. But trust me when I tell you, Every Wrong Right has nothing wrong with it and is most certainly right! If that makes any sense… M.C.Frank continues her retelling of Robin Hood in the second Outlaws book series and man, can this get any better? The answer is obvious and Frank has made us all love the fairytales we fell in love with as children but of course, with a twist of her own.
Every Wrong Right gives the reader some of the answers that were left unanswered from the last book and honestly, they are answered in every right way!
xx
I personally love the evolution of Ru before our eyes as you can vividly see her running past us in slow motion, transforming through every walk of life that she had once been and who she is slowly becoming.
As for Robin Hood, well let’s get just one thing straight, I may have an unhealthy crush on him. He’s witty, strong-minded and man, does his hunger for survival thrive throughout this novel.
I would recommend this book to those who LOVE a solid retelling with lots of twists and turns, characters you won’t be able to forget and of course, those who enjoy a little survival in their lives.

Another exciting episode in the adventures of Robin and Ru!

Unlike the first book, this book was fast - it takes place over the course of around 24h, and would be perfectly adapted a television episode if this series was ever made into a show (which you know I would LOVE). It centers around a high stakes mission that the band of Outlaws leads in the heart of the castle, with a daring escape and a dangerous fallout.

Ru and Robin's past becomes clearer, flashbacks filling us in as we go along, giving us more information about how they were split and Ru's transformation into a little killing machine. We also learn more about her relationship with her father and the other men in the castle - including her future husband. This girl just cannot catch a break, and my heart weeps for her.

Her loyalties are put further to the test as her brother is once again waved in front of her eyes. Yet she cannot deny the positive change Robin is striving for. Whose side is she on - and who will she choose? I just can't wait for the next book!

>Book Review – Every Wrong Right
>I am an independent reviewer. This book is the 2nd in the Outlaws series and ends with a cliffhanger. The story gets tiring with Ru trying to convince herself to kill Robin and then deciding she can’t. Once her decision is made, you would think she would start to work with Robin. Then in the next chapter, she decides to try to kill Robin again. She needs to make up her mind. The story is really dragging with all of her back and forth.
>The best scene was the one with Ru and Robin dancing and then kissing over her veil. I realize Robin may not recognize Ru dressed as a lady, but I find it hard to believe he wouldn’t recognize her voice. The big cliffy in this story has to do with the capture of Will. Robin is once again drowning in depression over losing Will.
>This book is appropriate for a young adult audience. I am giving this book 4 stars. I hope this series starts to work on the romance soon.

Every Wrong Right continues the Outlaws saga in a meaningful and powerful way. With deadly secrets, intriguing suspense, and heart-wrenching, conflicting decisions, the story of Robin Hood continues. I couldn't wait to turn the pages (metaphorically with the way the digital version has gone) and it placed me in the minds of the characters. Each one has powerful back stories that make their problems more real.

This story is well-written with depth and heart-wrenching romance. The mix between suspense and romantic inclinations creates a moving story line. I can't wait to read the next in this series.

Every Wrong Right (Outlaws, #2), my third enjoyable read from author M.C. Frank. Well-written with memorable characters. I was given a Kindle copy of Sleep Robin Hood (Outlaws #3) and upon discovering it was the third book in a series I went out & got the first two to read first, now I'm voluntarily reading & reviewing the second book because every great book needs reviews. I look forward to reading more from this author and I definitely need to read more in this series, Next up is Sleep Robin Hood (Outlaws #3). (RIP Marley January 20, 2014 - July 24, 2018).

Captivating

This story picks up right after book 1 ends and it's constant action from start to finish. You are seeing the story unfold through 2 POV, Robin and Ru. You can see the inner struggles of each charcter both feeling inadequate and feeling as if they are failures.
I did get confused a few times as you will see the same scene twice, one from each point of view, but it did give you a great deal of insight of both charcters.
I and anxious to see where the author goes with book 3.

"Every Wrong Right" Is an emotionally gripping and beautifully written novel that explores the depths of love, redemption, and self-discovery. From the very first page.

The main characters are portrayed with incredible depth, each grappling with their own past mistakes and seeking a path to redemption. Their journeys are intricately woven together, creating a narrative that is as engaging as it is moving.

Whether you're a fan of contemporary romance, emotional dramas, or stories about personal redemption, this book is a must-read.

I picked this up because I loved the first book, I adored the world Frank had created, as well as the characters. This book picks up almost immediately after the first one ends. Ru and Robin are both in the fight for their lives. I adored Frank's way with words, I love the way she weaves the words into an enthralling story. I am very much looking forward to the third instalment. The book ends leaving you desperate for more, highly recommended!

Not worth the read!!!!!!

Will I thought this book would of been better. But its not. Once again the writer likes to repeat her self from the robber to the princess each tell the same story just in there own voice. Really gets boring. So I think this is where I will end my torment.!!!!!!!.

I've been a fan of Robin Hood since I first read it as child to watching the cartoon movie then the live movie with Mel Gibson. So retelling of this story sparked my long love of it and brought a whole new view. I love the way the answers to our questions from the first book and about Ru and Robin's past is given in flashbacks! Now they face a new dangerous mission and the stakes are high!

Another enjoyable read. The more of the story I read, the more I'm drawn into the world of Robin Hood. Definitly not the nicey type story we've grown up with. Shades of grey for what to do. Nothing is an easy choice, especially when love is thrown into the mix. So looking forward to the next instalment. Received an ARC of this story and all opinions are my own.

A lovely fast paced book with another tale about Robin, this one is more focused on Ru. She turns out to be more than she seems with one very big suprise. The tale takes over a 24 hour period full of action and kindness. I really enjoyed this book. Highly recommended.

Good story that takes a classic tale and puts a different twist on it. The characters are well done and the plot flows nicely.

Hardly anything changed between the first book and and second book end. The entire thing was almost one event, so I think it could have been condensed and put in book 1 to make this a 2 part series

Once again I have fallen for the simply beautiful and stunning writing of M.C. Frank! Not that I expected anything else when I dove into this little gem. I'm stunned by how her stories always come to life immediately. They are so real and well written!

Trigger Warning: This story has a really dark and twisted undertone. You find yourself in the Middle Ages after all and well, not all fun and games there, let me tell you.

This darkness and the more dramatic scenes make it so real and authentic though! Even if I felt like being a part of the outlaws and it wasn't always lighthearted jokes and banter, I'd always recommend it and read it again.

No clue how she does it, but all her stories play with my emotions in a way that makes me speechless. I really cannot wait for the finale!

Better than the first book for sure. However, once again covered very little in terms of time. I’m quite positive the whole book consisted in two days or very little more. I did however enjoy more moments between Robin and Ru(alas the man has still not figured out who she is) but there were some good moments of breakthrough.

This is a great re-telling of Robin Hood, with some tortured protagonists who can’t seem to escape the dark voices in their heads.
I’m looking forward to the next instalment and can’t wait for Robin to finally figure out who Ru is.
