It all started in first grade when Cat Johnson won the essay contest at Hawthorne Elementary School and got to ride in the Chief of Police's car in the Memorial Day Parade...and the rest, as they say, is history. As an adult, Cat generally tries to stay out of police cars and is thrilled to be writing for a living. She has been published under a different name in the Young Adult genre, but released her first romance in 2006.
Today, she is a NY Times & USA Today best-selling, award-winning author of contemporary romance. A promo ho, she's sponsored real live bull riding cowboys and promoted romance using bologna.
Natalie and her ghost friends are at it again, this time she's meeting new ghosts in a haunted hotel, with her Mudville friends for a TV show, trying to discredit Latisha as a fraud, having to out herself when s evil spirit she and Latisha can see, getting a history lesson from Cat Johnson from her research of the historic hotel was pretty cool, absolutely love this book and series, and I'm hoping for a book 4, hint, hint, thank you so very much Cat Johnson for another brilliant story, Dana Zamora
A lot can happen in 5 days, especially when the Muddville ghosts are able to travel. It looks like Natalie will have to tell her friends that she can see and talk to ghosts...Maybe. These stories are a lot of fun. The characters are wonderfully quirky regardless of age and life or death status. And, when the Natalie and her friends Harper and Alice are chosen to be on a reality show, the ghosts lend a hand in keeping them safe. Love this series. I hope there are more books to come in this series. Enjoy!
Wow! I guess this is the final book in this series - or is it! Anyway, so glad Natalie finally came clean about her ability to see and hear the ghosts. Liam is still with Natalie as she was definitely not boring to be with. I am glad these two are still a couple. Glad Gabe and Millie are still together. It was interesting to read about the theater and hotel. Alice is definitely a hoot! So happy things are working out for Natalie! FANTASTIC job Cat! I would recommend this book and seties!
Natalie wants to tell her best friend Harper that she can see and hear ghosts, but is afraid to lose her as a friend. Alice decides to enter the town for a paranormal show. When that doesn’t happen, she sends in auditions for them to be on the show. Will Natalie be able to keep her secret while being on the show? Will she once again solve mysteries? Come on in and find out.
This book! It makes me laugh, it makes me love the main characters a bit more than I already did and it makes me fall in love with a brand new cast of ghosts. I thoroughly enjoyed the first two in the series and this one is every bit as good. If you're looking for a light read to get in the spooky frame of mind but don't like scary stories, this one is for you!
Going on a ghost hunting show and meeting a bunch of new ghosts while still trying to hide from her best friend that she can see and talk to the ghosts is kind of funny to watch play out. But when the truth comes out, will she lose her living best friend?
These were a really good read. Not too light or to heavy. A little closed door mixed with some low level spice. Comedy, mystery, feels. Very enjoyable. The only reason it’s four stars is because I think she’s going to leave it as a trilogy when I think she could stretch this into many more enjoyable reads.
