New Delhi, December 2001: 'Terror Strikes Parliament, 12 Killed'

Pulwama, February 2019:'44 Dead in Valley's Bloodiest Day'

Since its inception in 2000, Jaish-e-Mohammed, the Pakistan-supported South Asian terrorist group with a pan-Islamist vision, has been responsible for countless terror attacks in Jammu and Kashmir, and bringing India and Pakistan on the verge of full-fledged war twice.

This book, the first detailed and comprehensive study of JeM, examines its origins, ideology, organizational structure, financing, strategies and tactics, radicalization methods, fidayeen attacks and information networks. Dr Abhinav Pandya's rigorous field research includes extensive interviews with veteran intelligence and security professionals who have dealt with JeM since its founding, as well as intelligence dossiers, charge sheets of cases and confidential reports on the outfit.

With the return of the Taliban to Afghanistan enhancing JeM's operational capabilities, this book is critical reading for an in-depth understanding of the past, present and likely future of JeM.

Interesting read. Christine Faire’s book on LeT released a few years back explained functioning of LeT and other Ahl-e-Hadith off shoots. This book does the same for JeM and other Deobandi organisations. A must read for those interested in studying terrorist organisations in South East Asia

The book offers an in-depth exploration of the world of Jaish-e-Mohammed and the significant role played by Masood Azhar.
It underscores the critical need for our security agencies to remain vigilant against potential threats, emphasizing that any lapse in monitoring could have dire consequences for national security.

The author presents compelling facts about how Pakistan employs terror outfits as proxies in its conflict with India.
The book is meticulously structured to shed light on the operational methods of various terror groups in the Kashmir Valley.

Additionally, the writer proposes several strategies to address and mitigate these threats, providing a comprehensive approach to tackling the situation.

A good detailed view of the formation of JeM until today, pick this book up only if you’re interested in a detailed reading about JeM which is written slightly on the academic style rather than a narrative building novel style. This book can be heavy on you in parts especially with all the terminologies but once you grasp it, you’ll do good. This book dives into the Pulwama fidayeen attack case from an academic lens. If you want to read a more novely approach, try reading ‘the lover boy of bahawalpur’ by rahul pandita.

While a good insight into LeT is available; A consolidated book on JeM gives a good understanding about the second most imp Pak Proxy war vector. It is different from LeT not always deferent to ISI. Book gives details of Masood Azar. How he continue to be loyal to est. He is unfit but a great motivator. Book also details of important leaders of the group. We’ll researched & a must read
