1. I am an extrovert with unlimited psychological energy. (I also stockpile Pinterest memes!)
2. HUGE Enneagram fan, so if you want to connect more, prepare to be asked to take the test so I can better understand you and speak your love language . (My tritype is 847 - which makes me Deadpool's female twin!)
3. My favorite authors on the YA side are Laini Taylor and Susan Dennard. My favorite authors on the adult side include: Amelia Hutchins *Queen*, Pam Godwin *Goddess*, and Elayna Gallea.
4. Up until 2020, I used to write strictly YA. I had a major identity transformation, wrote three books in three months (back to back), found my true VOICE, processed my identity, healed from past trauma, and came out as bisexual. Now, I love writing spicy fantasy romance and bridging the gap between the heterosexual and queer audience by offering them badass heroines taking on the dark alphas and literally *everyone* in my books is queer and polyamorous because #whychoose? It's normalized, it's respected, and it's beautiful!
5. My favorite film is The Princess Bride.
6. I am Disney-obsessed, especially Marvel and the Princess movement.
7. I started writing The Aviary over twelve years ago after a visit to Germany and learning about the Red-Light District. These books were evidence of my sexuality screaming to be let out.
8. My favorite Broadway is The Phantom of the Opera followed closely by The Scarlet Pimpernel.
9. Songs to describe me: Unbreakable by Fireflight, Warrior by Demi Lovato, Ready or Not by Brit Nicole and Lecrae, Speechless by Naomi Scott (Aladdin), Show Yourself by Idina Mendel (Frozen 2), This Is Me from The Greatest Showman, and The Sound of Silence.

Sooo this was straight smut. Now don't get me wrong I ENJOYED reading this 🤭🫣. From the way they spoke about each other you can tell how much love they have for each other.

I do wish I had read their other book first about how they met and started them on their love journey first. As much as I liked the book I would have enjoyed it so much more if I knew how they got there.

But even without reading their entire story it was easy to see how in love they were. They clearly had an insane amount of chemistry.

This book most definitely gave me the push I needed to go back and read their story from the very beginning. I enjoy this authors writing a lot so this is definitely not gonna be my last book of theirs.

You know I love a great Krampus story. Short, semi dark sweetness rolled into a phenomenal novella! This novella is a follow up from Kidnapped so give that a read first!

A lot of fun and a great plot! The love and chemistry between the characters was overwhelming and amazing. Oh and the spice! Yep. It's a chefs kiss worth! Emily has outdone herself with this and proves she's got the know how to conjure up any story!

I was thankful to be a part of her ARC team for this read!

Honestly? I loved this more than I loved KBK. I feel like I got more of Krampus’ soft side and Twyla’s bratty side on top of a tonnnnn of spice! Such a good and quick read!

Really enjoyed reading this novella but it’s really no surprise since I loved kidnapped by krampus ! Great way to start my holiday reading.

This was cute, but just not for me. The relationship was adorable, everything was described beautifully, but it was a little too light on plot and a little too fantastical. Which I know is a ridiculous thing to say about this sort of book, but all the extra holiday touches were just a bit too over the top for me. But others might eat it up!

Great smut book. .. I actually skipped the first book to read this as a ARC. I am now starting the first book Kidnapped by the Krampus. What a way to put a twist on Krampus. Great story and I will re read after I finish the first book to get all the effect!

If you're looking for a unique, spicy, and festive read this holiday season, *Snowed In with the Krampus* by Emily Shore delivers on all fronts. This book takes the classic Krampus legend and turns it into a steamy, Christmas-themed romance, full of tension and unexpected twists. The chemistry between the characters is off the charts, and the spice is absolutely sizzling!

While I thoroughly enjoyed this book, I have to say that I personally liked *Kidnapped by Krampus* a bit more. That book in the series grabbed me a bit faster with its pacing and character development. However, *Snowed In with Krampus* is definitely a great follow-up, with its own unique charm. It brings that perfect mix of holiday magic, heat, and suspense that makes it an ideal read for fans of spicy romance with a Christmas twist.

Overall, I highly recommend this book if you're in the mood for something naughty with a holiday flair. It’s a perfect read to curl up with while the snow falls outside, even if you’re not technically *snowed in*.

Emily Shore has done it again, whisking us away to our holiday fantasy land. Having never read kidnapped by krampus, I was easily able to see and understand the special love between Twyla and Krampus. 90% fun times to be had, with 10% of a delicious seasonal storyline.
After being saved by Krampus, leaving them stuck in a lodge, instead of krampus world where he intended, Twyla gifts him with her submission.
Very well detailed, leaving the reader and Twyla very happy. The love between Twyla and Krampus is easily felt, and makes the reader fall in love with the characters as well.
I'm obsessed with the translations at the beginning making it easier for new readers to understand what is being said. Most Norwegian words have translations nearby for context clues which makes it easy as well. Both POV's are included. Great little christmas one liners through out the book that make you giggle.
Great little christmas novella.

I can't even describe just how hilarious this woman is with all of her endearing sayings and "curses". The more of them I saw, the more I loved her and it just made her that much more human to me, immortal or not.

This follow-up to "Kidnapped by the Krampus" is the perfect mix of Merry Christmas meets Happy Anniversary. For those of you wishing to read it, I highly suggest getting your first bite of the story with "Kidnapped by the Krampus" first in order to avoid any spoilers to the full story, and because I know that it was such a heart warming meet, it will make this story all the better for you.

Short and sweet and OH SO FULL of spice, Emily Shore has once again proven that she knows how to take a tale and spin it so full of life and love for the monsters of the seasons. I can't wait for more from Twyla and her Krampus.

How the author manages to get this much spice in but still have some actual theme is beyond me. I really enjoyed this. It have to say it’s the first for me in this genre and I loved it. I am excited to know that the original story is available because I did not get enough of Twyla and Krampus. They were seriously too cute. The way he has this hard exterior, but melts for his girl is my favorite.

The one liners in this were hilarious and Christmas themed. It was well written and I didn’t get bored through it. I feel like it was just enough for a Christmas Novella. And yes, now I have to add the other one to the list because I have to know how they started.

Read the trigger warnings because there are quite a few in this book. Lines getting crossed, other parts being stretched and we can’t forget about the special eggnog.

I love a really good Krampus story. This novella hit the spot for me. If you have read Kidnapped by the Krampus then, you will love this novella as it follows up with Krampus and Twyla from that book. If you have not read, that is ok as you can still read this novella but after reading it, you will want to go back and read Kidnapped.

Um, I am a "bad" girl, and I need to be punished! The "punishment" that Krampus dealt to Twyla was HOT. It sure got me hot under the collar. I love all the holiday witty references spread throughout this book. It is very evident how much Krampus and Twyla love each other.

Whether you are on the good" or "bad" list, you are not going to want to miss this book!

You know how once the holidays roll around, you look forward to all the cheesy Hallmark movies that start to get released? This book is exactly like waiting for a cheesy Hallmark, except it’s smut and there’s nothing cheesy about what they do.

There’s really no plot here - like if you’re looking for a story that has ups and downs and plot twists, this isn’t it. At best, you’ll get a climax (repeatedly) and some hot monster smut. I will say we saw some of Krampus’ soft side, but it didn’t last long enough to make the story less of an erotica.

Do not base the reason to read or not read solely on reviews. It’s a short novella, quickest read and you’d be supporting someone’s work. But do keep in mind this is monster smut, it is not going to be romantic and cutesy.

Plot: ⭐️
Smut: 🌶️🌶️🌶️

Snowed in with the Krampus is the second story following my favorite holiday couple: Twyla and Krampus.

“Twyla, Queen of Yuletide, her Amorous Majesty, the Lady of the Winter Star, and Monstrous Mistress of the Solstice.”

This is a wonderful follow up to the first story. Here we continue to see their marriage bloom. Of course we see more of Twyla’s bratty side peek through along with her hilarious holiday cussing.

“…big Daddy Krampus.”

Is at it again. Her protector and dom all wrapped in one. We do get to see the softer side of Krampus, and his sweet nicknames for his beloved wife.

I have to hand it to Emily, I love the way he speaks to Twyla.
In case you were wondering, yes, there’s more eggnog!

This novella is part of the Roars and Romance series. I wasn’t really expecting to like the book because it is about Krampus. I found myself actually enjoying reading it! It was a steamy yet somewhat sweet book, to my surprise.
The relationship between Twyla and Krampus is very enviable. He loves her, protects her, and puts her above all others. Twyla loves him but she also loves to brat him and push his buttons.I cannot wait to read :Kidnapped by the Krampus” to see how their story began.
Thank you, Emily Shore, for another great read! I truly enjoyed reading this novella and look forward to reading more!

Snowed in with the Krampus
By Emily Shore

5⭐️ 5🌶
A delightfully wicked Krampus Christmas. You'll never look at Candy Canes nor Frosted Fruit the same!
It takes place on Twyla and Krampus's one year anniversary. When plans go awry, Krampus makes do until he can follow through.
It felt like a love letter to her readers. Maybe Emily spent some time in the 'Tween because her love and awe expressed through both MCs were spectacular.
The dirtiest seasonal love story you may ever read. 🎄❄️

As Twyla would say - oh holy holly berries! I’ll never frost a cookie the same way again 🤣.

This book was, unsurprisingly, just a whole ton of fun! There is a plot, but it’s really a love story to our favorite yuletide holiday and its king and queen. The puns are exceptional, the smut absolutely out of control, and the love between these characters just radiant. I had such a fun time coming back to this world and enjoying everything its one year anniversary has brought. It’s ridiculous and I loved it.

Snowed in with the Krampus by Emily Shore is a delightful return to Twyla and Krampus’s quirky and spicy romance. Picking up where Kidnapped by the Krampus left off, this novella dives right back into their sassy, banter-filled relationship with even more heat and humor. Twyla and Krampus’s chemistry is electric, and their playful dynamic keeps the pages turning. I absolutely loved seeing their relationship evolve, and I’m hoping this becomes an annual tradition with more novellas to enjoy each year!

Emily Shore has delivered once again! First off though, this is a sequel. You should 100% read Kidnapped by the Krampus (another 5 star read!) first or you’ll probably be lost on some references and the storyline.

Second off, Twyla and Krampus are 🥵!!! I love the peek into their life afterwards and all the smutty times they’re enjoying. They just fit so well together and Emily Shore does the banter between them so amazingly. The research and history behind Krampus is on point as well and I love all the holiday references….even the eggnog! 😂

It was so good to re visit these charaters in a new book. I loved the first and just knew this would be just as hot!! 🌶🌶🤩
It was nice to see Twyla was still a happy woman with her Krampus. Despite his thoughts of un deserving, they were and still are perfect for each other. The heat is just as good as the first book and their banter had me chuckling away.
Thank you dear lady, for another, thoroughly hot, sexy read! Oh to be Twyla and enjoy my own Krampus. 😍😍 The perfect read to start the Holiday season. 😍😍

"Oh, jingle jangle shit balls." -Twyla

As always, Emily Shore did NOT disappoint with this story. I absolutely LOVE Krampus and his beautiful Christmas Star, Twyla. Their dynamic is amazing. I love how he becomes monstrous with his punishments but also makes sure he never pushes Twyla too far. Twyla's silly Christmas themed sayings are just too funny... This book had me 🥵 and giggling through out. Definitely a super fun Christmas season spicy short read.

A perfect naughty Krampus novella to get you through the holiday season. Once again Emily Shore has written a love story of two of our favorite characters showing us a truly forever happy ending. The way she wields her pen leaves us on our seats and twitterpatted for just one more chapter, a crumb, long after the story has ended. Thank you Emily again for this. Your writing and characters will forever live rent free in my head.

Snowed in with the Krampus is a sweet and spicy novella featuring Twyla and her monstrous Krampus. After getting lost and ruining Krampus' holiday plans, he decides to give his sweet sugarplum fairy everything she yearns for and more. From candy canes to ribbons, spicy eggnog and cookies it's a magical affair. This was the perfect novella, and even though I haven't had the chance to read Kidnapped by the Krampus this bumped it to next on my tbr! You won't want to miss this!

Emily knocks it out of this world once again. I loved the original Krampus story, but this novella gives all the extras needed to make the holidays have a bit more flavor. I chuckled, my heart soared, and I had a significant craving for fresh eggnog by the end. If you love Krampus and eggnog cozy up and get ready for a deep dive into the wonderfully full snow globe of Krampus and Twyla, their banter and love will get you in the mood...a festive delight!

Wow. Just wow.
Just pure brilliance. The writing is next level amazing. I’ve never read another author who can make you feel like you are actually there descriptions are wonderful.
I can’t say much as I am rubbish at writing what I think because I give too much away. You just have to read it yourself to be immersed in this world again. Make sure you read kidnapped by Krampus first so you know who the characters are and enjoy the tale.

Look I wanted to love this so much (and I LOVE monster smut) but it just wasn't for me. Twyla is annoying AF and her behavior and weird sayings borders on the ridiculous. Krampus was hot but they really leaned into the whole daddy dom thing and I was hoping for more monster focus. The story is also super disjointed and there's not much of a plot but if you're into that type of thing you might enjoy this tho.
