Seeing our intimate moment spread across the internet was not what I expected the morning after lowering my guard for my stepbrother and his two best friends. They mean more to me than I ever expected, and I want to live in the moment with them instead of looking over our shoulders.
But we can’t lower our guard. Someone was behind the video. My stalker continues to haunt me from the shadows. And worst of all, one of my guys is keeping dangerous secrets.
We can’t overcome these obstacles until we trust each other. I’m not sure how to get us there, but I do know I’ll never give up. Just like they won’t give up on me. On us.
Nichole is a contemporary romance author. When she isn't writing, she's chasing her four children around. Writing has always been her aspiration but it wasn't until her husband suggested she actually follow dreams that she took the biggest step. Her debut novel, Cold and Broken exceeded her expectations and she can't wait to share more of the stories taking up space in her mind.
Her other hobbies include baking, listening to music, and reading. She also has an obsession with true crime podcasts and cheesy 80s movies.
Banks, Delcan, Cyrus, and Emerson are literally the best boyfriends a girl like Harper could ever have.
The end of book one changed the dynamics of their relationship, yet despite the intrusion to their privacy, it made them stronger than ever.
Knowing the threat is still out there, they continue to live their lives, yet when the threats become personal, their protectiveness of Harper becomes paramount.
Harper is a lot more confident in expressing her wants and needs, especially when it comes to being intimate with her guys. They're proud of her and the steps that she has taken to ask because they have no issues keeping up with her insatiable appetite.
Coming face to face with her father, the cruel words that role off his tongue make Harper all that more determined to put him behind her. Cillian has been nothing but a wall of strength for her and her mother, and couldn’t be more thankful to have him in her life.
A not unexpected proposal has Harper seeing stars. She couldn't be happier to be Banks wife. Cyrus and Emerson are happy, yet Declan has reservations. Yet a conversation between Banks and Declan has them coming to a mutual understanding about their future.
Cyrus reaches an empass with his uncle because now he is free of the restraints holding him down and can now move forward in his life with Harper and his family. Hearts are a fluttering when they each say those three important words to each other talk about swooning.
When Harper's mother Annabelle shares with her her exciting news, Harper can't be happier, especially when she lets her mother know that she's aware of her relationship between Cillian and Felix. There's no judgement, just pure love and understanding between mother and daughter.
And that's when it all comes to ahead. The mysterious threat makes themselves known. In a precarious situation, Harper pushes her mother to safety, and when the alarm is raised, everyone springs into action, reinforcements called in.
With Harper safely back in thier arms, and the threats nutrilised, can everyone breathe now, knowing they can move forward with their lives.
That epilogue was the penultimate, seeing everyone happy and carefree, living their lives, pursuing their dream careers, but also getting there happily ever after as husbands and wife.
This book was beautifully written. The way the author wrote these characters showed true strength and determination in which they worked to overcome not only there trauma but the hardships they faced, that despite what people would think about their unconventional relationship, it was depicted in a respectful way where each character was accepting of the other and the parts they all play in making the dynamics of their relationship work.
Those smexy scenes were hot, steamy, and oh so spicy! Highly recommend both the author and the book. I can't wait to read what she writes next!
Perfect conclusion and the epilogue was absolute perfection! I liked how the stalker was a complete surprise and I never would’ve known. It made me so glad that Banks became part of Harper’s little harem. Seeing him get his own happiness with her and find a family with them was everything. He was the best pick for the one to marry her. I really thought he deserved it. And just as suspected, Harper really came into herself and found her strength by the end. I loved Harper, from start to finish she was a great character. Her and the guys were great together and each had their own special bond. I loved that even though Banks and hers relationship was not sexual, they had an incredibly special connection with how she’d just sit between his legs with her head on his lap. It was simple and innocent, but it was their thing and I loved it. Declan and his obsession with her was hot, no denying it! That man would destroy anything and anyone for her and to keep her safe. Emerson was her protector and voice of reason. Then there’s Cyrus, sweet and deadly. Cyrus and Harper were so much alike and both had scars from their past that made them relate to each other and drew them together. I loved their closeness and how he really understood her and knew what she needed. Harper was the center of all their world, she was their anchor. This duet was definitely worth every second! I devoured both books in hours and the suspense of wanting to know who the stalker was had hooked!
Wicked Devotions is the explosive and utterly addictive conclusion to this duet, and I could not get enough of it. Banks, Declan, Cyrus, and Emerson have officially secured their spots as my book boyfriends for life, and watching their story with Harper unfold has been nothing short of breathtaking. Their love is raw, intense, and completely unmatched.
From the very first page, this book had me hooked. The tension was high, the emotions were deep, and the spice? Oh boy, the spice was spicing! Filthy, depraved, and everything delicious in between—this book did not hold back.
Beyond the heat, the plot had me on the edge of my seat. The mystery surrounding Harper’s stalker kept me guessing, and every single hunch I had was dead wrong. The suspense was masterfully woven into the story, making it impossible to put down. Just when I thought I had it figured out, Nichole Greene threw another curveball my way.
This book brought me so much joy, and I truly didn’t want it to end. If you love a steamy, suspenseful, and emotionally gripping romance with an unforgettable poly dynamic, Wicked Devotions is a must-read. I’ll be thinking about this story—and these characters—for a long time.
Ahhh the conclusion to the duet is finally here & it was absolutely worth the wait!! I loved this duet so much, the men were swoon worthy & there was so much to the story that kept me on the edge of my seat waiting to find out what was going to happen.
Harper's men would do whatever it took to keep her safe and protected. Including letting someone in that they never thought would be in their inner circle. Together; Declan, Emerson, Cyrus & Banks will do whatever they can to protect Harper and keep her safe and ensuring she's loved in the process. They each have a unique relationship that they're learning to navigate within their group.
"We're just at different places on the journey. But we have the same destination."
I've been thinking about the cliffhanger of Part 1 at least once a week for months, so knowing what happens next was both a relief, and completely infuriating. Harper is still in danger, Declan is still a hothead, Cyrus is still a safe space, and Emerson is the brains of the operation. Not to mention Banks, who is finding his way how to be part of Harper's new situation in a way that feels genuine to his asexual identity while still holding space for his romantic love for Harper. It sounds complicated but it's really not.
A lot happens, and all of the storylines for each guy are wrapped up in a way that feels right.
It's not easy to figure out how to be in a group relationship, but they do, and it's a beautiful expression of all the kinds of love.
I feel like there's so much that happens that I can't say too much - but Harper gets to use her shiny new spine and protect both herself and others. This is still ultimately her story, her needs and successes are what matters. This is someone who does what needs to be done while still processing trauma, still experiencing risks to her safety, and acknowledging that when the time comes - she will need help. What a story.
I loved this group of characters and glad they found their HEA after overcoming so many obstacles in their way. Please be aware that there is an MM relationship within this why choose romance, so if that is not your thing, then this duet is not for you (don't ignore this warning and then leave a bad review because you don't like MM hookups). I love that Harper explains exactly why I love why choose romance so much. Each guy gives her something she needs in her life and it is only with all of those pieces that she feels complete. These overprotective guys would go to the end of the earth to make sure she is safe and happy.
Part two picks up where the first one left off, and Harper is afraid of the fallout. Despite not being with them, Banks is still able to make his presence known. Harper’s stalker is unfortunately still at large. Banks fits into their relationship dynamic so well, and all the guys will do anything for her. They are able to strengthen their relationships, despite what they are going through. I really like that Harper and her mom were able to develop such a nice relationship; after all the two had been through, it was good to see her mom get a happy ending as well. This was a nice conclusion, and it wrapped up their story well, especially with that epilogue.
This sequel delivers an intense mix of romance, suspense, and character growth. Harper's journey continues as she faces the fallout of a leaked intimate video and the ever-present threat of her stalker. Her deep connections with Emerson, Cyrus, and Declan shine, each bringing a unique dynamic to their relationship. Declan’s fiery obsession adds an exciting edge, while the group’s unwavering love and protection for Harper are heartwarming. The suspense keeps you hooked, and the twists add depth to the story. Harper’s evolving relationship with her mother is touching. Though the ending felt a bit rushed, it’s a satisfying conclusion to an emotional and thrilling duet.
Nichole Greene is always leaving me on a huge cliffhanger, so I was thrilled to finally get my hands on book 2 of the Wicked Devotions duet. I was glad to be back in Harper's world with her guys that love and adore her so much. This second book showed how the poly family has adapted into their lifestyle, including Banks who is asexual. His connection with Cy was so sweet! There is still the element of suspense in this book. Harper's stalker is still out and about and causing the guys' blood pressure to skyrocket, especially our broody Declan. I enjoyed how this book wrapped up their story and I enjoyed the extended epilogues. I would love a deeper look into Cy's life!
Just the book I was waiting for. When book one ends in a cliffhanger, my need to read the next one becomes too high and I was waiting for this conclusion. I enjoyed how Nichole moulded everything with precision and speed. I was wondering if Banks will fit in this scenario, and I am surprised. That was a perfect move. The story is sweet and hot with lots of spice and depth. Each character shines brighter as we get to know them more in this book.
The second part is finally here and I loved every second of it. It picks up after that mini cliffhanger. And what I loved about it that the guys (Declan, Cy, and Emerson). The one thing that I love about these relationships is that they are so loving and caring about Harper, like they listen, they protect her, they love her.
We get closer and closer to finding out the truth of who's behind the messages and turning their world upside down. Also can I just say the "stepfather" is just as caring though. Like, come on, in stories like this majority of them should not belong on this earth, but now this stepfather. He's also very protective and adores Harper and her mother.
I love the incorporation of our Dark Devotion family. (And yes I just got the understanding even more of the title!!)
I applaud Nichole for the asexual rep and how refreshing it is to see that they show their love and affection is a different way but still fulfills their partner. It was amazing to see Banks love Harper and know that he was still enough and to see Declan, Cy, and Emerson accept him even more.
Full of banter, all the spice, all the suspense and of course the HEA.
Nichole remains one of my favorites to read and Wicked Devotions duet keeps reminding me why I love her.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
This was an epic conclusion to Nichole's Wicked Devotions duet, and I was so thrilled to finally find out what was going to happen to Harper and the guys. Nichole included everything that you could possibly want out of one of her books. The story wrapped up very well, and it kept me hooked from the beginning. I was sad to finish the story, but would happily read it again and again. Can't wait to see what comes next from her!!
At the end of the day, the love we share for each other, in whatever form it may take, eclipses any unease we might have. I trust them all implicitly, just as they do me. I wouldn’t trade our family for the world.
Loved this so much! The pacing and everything was fantastic. I was never wanting to rush through scenes. I enjoyed the romance of course but I also enjoyed the suspense! I love this duet so much!
This was a great ending to this duet. I enjoyed seeing everyone solidify their relationships (and seeing all the bad guys get what was coming to them). There were some fun little twists and side stories that added to the story lines. I felt the ending was a little rushed but it was still very exciting. I hope this author writes more stories like this!
With the ending of part 1 I needed answers and I needed them asap! Part 2 starts right where part 1 ended. This was a quick read for me, because I was invested and the story line flowed amazingly. Harper and the guys are amazing. The way they are there for each other had me swooning. Each guy brought something different to the relationship. I love their dynamic.
Listen I have been waiting for the conclusion of this story and it did not disappoint! This is a duet and you do have to read book one first! If you like dark, why choose, stepbrother.…....you will love this duet. Harper and Declan and Emerson and Cyrus and Banks. I love them all. This book picks up right where that cliffhanger in book one left my jaw on the floor. I can't really say much without spoiling and I just won't do that. Download both books and enjoy!
I loved this book and the way all Harper’s men accept, love, and protect her at all costs. They are truly down bad for her. Cy is still my favorite though. The tortured artist gets me every time.
