This was a rip roaring thriller of a series, from English neo Nazis, through Russian gangsters, and on to Middle Eastern terrorists and Taliban extremists. All battling against the British security services with varying degrees of success. Illegal rendition flights, the torture of terrorist suspects, political infighting, double crossing, and the accidental killing of "innocents". A gritty and violent series that's not for everyone but, if you like dark thrillers, well worth a try.
I have just read these 6 books in a row and can honestly say it's been my best read for a while. I feel totally exhausted mentally, having been all around the World with various violent terrorists and just totally bad people! What an experience need a day to recover 😅
No words to describe just how good this series is!!
Absolutely brilliant!! Conrad Jones is such a talented writer, you get totally sucked I to the story and I feel as though I know each character personally and that I went on every thrilling mission with them. I seriously couldn't put this series down. Thank you Conrad Jones for bringing Tank to life...I look forward to reading more of your amazing work
Yes, I did binge read this series, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Mixed scenarios, with compelling characters and great descriptions of the locations and it all moves along at breakneck speed. My only regret is that there are six books in the series and the final one, though described in the contents wasn't included in the version I bought. Thank you Conway Jones for a great read.
A good attempt at showing that there is a very good anti terrorist team in the UK and Western World. It is a fact that is shown in this book that there are mad ,greedy people in this World ,willing to supply terrorists at the right price. Very scientifically sound. A good read for people who like the good succeeding over evil.
Very entertaining yarns with a UK centric base but looking into the depravity that now births terrorism worldwide. Plots from the 24 hr news channels carry the reader into a believable world full of twist and scrapes. Would welcome further titles in the years ahead.
Loved these books, full of relatable reality of the world we now live in.Short punchy chapters, that switch from character/scenarios at pace. Hopefully more of Tank and Grace to follow.
Brilliant series characters are great i felt part of their lives couldn't put it down highly recommend .Mr Jones is a brilliant writer and very well written .
Paid for book in September 2017, never got to read it, would like to. Too be able to form an opinion. It is now November 1st, 2017. I have paid for so many books since I have signed up to Amazon/Goodreads/Kindle what ever you want to call this, and paid a lot of money, and have read a lot of good books, a lot of stupid books that should have never gotten published. But, who am I, all I am asking for are the ones that I have paid for and not gotten to read. It is bad enough my Kindle is glued to my hand, where ever I go, but when I get ripped off I am not a happy Lady. Just like Amazon is not if they are not paid. Thank you. Regards, Theresa
The storylines were OK, although rather farfetched, and I quite enjoyed them. However, some of the grammar seems to have been auto corrected, incorrectly, and I find that rather frustrating. My main gripe is the author's lack of skill regarding scale. He describes all distances in yards, when the same number of feet would have been far more believable. In one story, for instance, he describes a shipping mall loading bay as "stretching a thousand yards in each direction". Now I've been to many cities around the world, including Liverpool, and Idea have yet to find a shopping mall over a mile long.
