Wow, wow, wow! :) I'm totally hooked on this series.
I've been waiting so eagerly for part two, and it's finally here!

In this part, we find out what happened next with Storm and Damien, plus we get some very steamy heat / knotting / neck marking scenes—seriously hot!
I love Storm's POV and his internal commentary—they're so funny. His struggles with growing feelings for Damien are interesting, he has a deep respect for Damien's personal space and leaves him all the choice, I liked that he didn't pressure Damien in any way. I especially liked Damien's shy attempts to take care of Storm - feed him, and his fear of Storm leaving, even for a moment. That scene where Storm comes back to the dark, silent apartment to find Damien lying there in the dark—so moving.

And I absolutely love how, when the dramatic situation kicks in, Storm and Damien work together. You can tell how quickly they’ve become a team, combining their skills perfectly! Damien is such a badass, gotta admit it.

Now, about that I did NOT see that coming.
The story took such an unexpected turn. Blue Lowen caught my attention in another series ("Eden's Omegaverse") even though he was just only mentioned briefly there. Something about him stood out to me, and I hoped we'd get more of his story someday. There was a scene with activists attacking a pharmaceutical company's building, and I remember thinking, "What if Eden turns this into a bigger plotline?" And here we are!

It turns out Damien is Blue Lowen's nephew, so there's a clear link, but Eden has made me REALLY want to know more about Blue! How will his story unfold? From what’s described, he doesn’t have reproductive organs or sexual desires, so I’m dying to see what Eden comes up with to give him a perfect partner. I can’t wait!

There are some tropes not so obvious from the blurb, worth mention, since some people may be interested.

- it's a jock+nerd story, since Damien is a programmer and with nerdish look, Storm is this big hunky guy, super strong :)
- there's no cheating
- redhead representation
- chubby representation
- large birthmark on a face of one of the MCs
- magic present in the world (one of the brothers is mentioned to have some quasi-magic abilities)
- supernatural element
- it's basically a monster romance (Storm's not just shifts, he has a body that is monstrous even before, the shift only makes it more powerful)

This series is so exciting :)

I just finished another part of the series, wrapping up Storm and Damien's story.
A lot happened, and it was hard to put the book down. I really prefer the style the author used in this series compared to the other one, where the pace is slower—here, everything happens much faster. I love Storm's character; he’s truly unique, with a strong personality that makes him stand out from the rest.

The relationship between Storm and Damien is so interesting. Because Damien is in heat, they can’t confess their feelings to each other. There’s this rule that you can’t make any declarations during heat because of the hormonal chaos. So, both of them are holding back, which adds so much tension to the plotline.

I’m glad the author didn’t fall into the trap of cheap miscommunication. Before Storm leaves Damien’s apartment, he clearly tells him that he’ll come back (whether Damien believes it or not is another matter). Personally, I hate when miscommunication in books gets blown up to ridiculous levels, but thankfully, the author spared us from that. Kudos for that!

This book sets the stage for the next parts in the series, and some of the upcoming characters have really caught my attention. For example, Salt—I’d love to read more about him. And can someone please tell me if I’m imagining this, but… is SALT ?
He has the same last name and one eye color. From "Toxic", I remember Soren had a lot of siblings fathered by his playboy dad, but he wasn’t in contact with them! Or am I seeing things? :D

I really enjoyed it, and it kept me on edge till the very end. Also, I appreciated the Bonus at the end. I’ll definitely be picking up the next parts!

Wonderful

Just Wonderful! I’m waiting for the next book to come out. This book has action, heat, decision making, heat, some self doubt, more heat, frustration and oh did I mention heat? Fate’s Choice book 2 is the continuation from the first book. Storm and Damien are desperate for one another and when Fate steps in once again there’s no stopping either of them. Another book from Eden West that i just couldn’t put down. Totally 5⭐️💜

Of all the omegaverse books I have read, I enjoyed this a lot more than some others because of the explanations of the Omegaverse and it's origins. I also loved the purple alpha and rose omegas.
I liked the book and will read the next one in the series.

Another fun entry in Eden West's oeuvre. I enjoyed it.

Fated "True Mates," ABO world. This is a continuation of the novella Invade Me, in which MC "purple alpha" Storm, who works for the Dark Desires company, was hired to stage a home invasion and fuck the other MC, omega Damien, a virgin at that time. The encounter went...too well, and Storm suspects that Damien is his True Mate. As a rare purple alpha, Storm has a sixth-sense about mating compatibility, and he's near certain he's just met his ideal man.

In this book, Storm has refused to be hired to take Damien through his upcoming heat, not wanting to have a transactional relationship with his probably True Mate. He then proceeds to be TSTL and not take action to give Damien the choice to just ask him, but, he's prodded into doing so by his friend and cousin, and finally gets his act together. Almost too late, and Damien is about to go through heat with someone else, but...anyway, he doesn't. Which seemed like an inconsistency in the author's setup for True Mates, because my understanding is that he wouldn't have even been able to consider anyone else once True Mates come into contact, especially sexual contact, but...okay.

I love the True Mates world and the author's spin on omegaverse, even though this one didn't seem quite consistent with the other books I'd read. There's still a strong connection between these two, as they come together and figure themselves out during hot steamy sexy times.

There's also plot, with Storm having been disgraced by his ex-husband, a cheating lying omega who took Storm for all he could and left Storm "no choice" (I raise a skeptical brow) but to work for Dark Desires. Danger comes as Storm's former employer, a matchmaking company with ties to Dark Desires, asks him to come back due to his rare high level of success matching High and True Mates, in the form of a hoped for connection with Damien's inventor uncle, whose life is constantly threatened for his progress in medicine that could change ABO dynamics significantly. Oh, did I mention Damien is from a stinkin' rich family, and wary of people's intentions because of it? Storm refusing to work his heat as a job went a long way to showing Damien he can trust him. But I still don't get Damien trying to do it with someone else first.

I have previous negative feelings toward Storm for the way he dealt with his brothers (he fucked all his brothers' exes to get back at them for how they treated him as a kid...YUCK. And it also made me dislike the brothers, all of whom are heroes for other books...what a bunch of childhood assholes, didn't seem at all in character for how they are in their books...but I digress). I didn't really love him here either, he's just kind of...I don't know. Up in his own head a lot. But I did love him and Damien together, they are a good fit.

HEA, omegaverse, fated mates, claiming/bonding, heat sex, minor suspense. No cheating or others, but one hero does try and can't be with another alpha. Mostly safe for me. Recommended, as is the series.

I finally have time to add this review, and the second part of Invade Me didn’t disappoint! I read it in just a few hours without taking a break, and I loved every minute of it!

Eden has really improved in the art of writing over the last few books, especially compared to the earlier ones. The writing feels lighter, and the dialogues are much less over-the-top than when I first started reading Eden’s works.

I especially love Storm’s character—he’s so intense, much more so than his brothers, and I adore that about him. He has some unique traits, and I found myself savoring every interaction between him, Ragus, and Damien. He’s simply delightful.

This second part continues the story of Storm’s growing interest in Damien, which began in Invade Me. It cannot be read as a standalone because it directly picks up from where Invade Me ended. Storm is grappling with what to do about Damien and gets advice from his cousin, Nathaniel, who encourages him to take action.

Storm is hesitant, unsure if he should pursue Damien at all, especially given the circumstances of their first meeting. He has doubts and doesn’t want to confront Damien by going straight to his home, so he opts for another approach.

Eventually, Storm discovers that Damien, hurt by his earlier rejection, has turned to Damien struggles with that choice, though, and this gives Storm the chance to step in and help.

But that’s not all—Ragus finds himself in an unexpected situation at Fate’s Choice and needs Storm’s help. This is where the action kicks off, and I couldn’t tear my eyes from the page! I absolutely loved Storm’s transformation scene. It was so unique—one of the best and most believable monster transformations I’ve come across in a while. A true treat for all monster romance fans!

This book brought me so much joy. Even though I’m adding my review late due to personal stuff, I want to say I loved this story and highly recommend it!

This was a late ARC review, and it’s my honest opinion.

“Heat Me“ picks up where “Invade Me” Left me hanging! The torment that Storm goes through after finding his Fated Mate, and wanting to make sure everything is perfect and nothing is misconstrued just make me so happy. He wanted everything right and perfect for Damien while trying to get his life back on track to be worthy of his mate. I loved the attention to detail about the evolution of Damien’s nest as he becomes more comfortable with Storm and how accepting of Storms past he is. Seeing the plus size representation as a plus size reader, how his insecurities mirror my own made me feel seen and very happy. Eden did a great job setting up the next set of books while tying in the ones that have already released. I can’t wait to watch this family grow and I look forward to more from Eden.
