The Order of the Star Blade has one member, and that must change.
Jake Fox wrestles free of Sotalorian politics to return home and learn what really happened to Earth. The only people he trusts are rebels, outcasts, and a starship that should have been scrapped decades ago. The sentient weapon he captured from his defeated rival is a dangerous burden, and the viceroy seems to have turned against him.
All is not well for the only Star Blade.

Ideal coalesce in volume 2
Strings of the story started in volume 1 are drawn together and begin to make sense. A good read leading into volume 3.

Great Book!

Got too weird
Not what I expected, finished 61%, then lost interest. Half the time I didn't know who was speaking, then lost track of what the heck was going on. It just got too weird. Really disappointed, wondering if the author got hooked on drugs...

Very good read
I enjoyed reading this book and I recommend this book to anyone who likes LitRPG and progression type of books with an apocalypse type theme and lots of action.

The second installment in this series is even better than the first. Can't wait for the third book! Chaney and Moon spin terrific tales.

Hard to stop reading this book
Be prepared to stay up way later then planned. There's a lot of action, and bad guys vs good guys, and treachery and bad jokes.
