40-year-old Rick, who is bisexual, had to marry a woman or lose a large inheritance from his homophobic father. The marriage is loveless and practically sexless, but he plans to stick it out just long enough to collect his cash. Horny and frustrated, that changes when Rick meets his wife's 18-year-old son, Lance.
Taking Lance is part one of the Taking Lance series.
Rick and Lance's story is continued in Keeping Lance.
A blogger by day, at night Candi Kay transforms into a writer of various genres, with an emphasis on LGBTQ and erotica. Author of the Willy the Kinky Elf & His Bad-Ass Reindeer series, Candi's books are often filled with humor, lovable, kooky characters, and sweet happily-ever-afters. You can find Candi on Facebook, Amazon, her blog, Pinterest, Twitter, or email her at CandiKayAuthor@gmail.com. She loves hearing from readers!
Sexy, well written bi erotica, not MM. Do not go into this book thinking it is MM, as you won't be happy, there are women's bits in the book. BUT... there is more gay sex in it than anything else. The FF tag is for plot purposes more than anything else, not titillation. For a full adult review http://ontopdownunderbookreviews.com/...
I read this ages ago and didn't realise I hadn't reviewed it or rated it. Huh.
Bi erotic romance.
I have been lusting after my wife’s son since the day I met him. Tall and thin, the boy has yet to grow into his long arms and legs. Jet black hair like his biological father, it falls just to below his collar. His eyes are so blue I could see myself in them if I allowed myself to get close enough. I haven’t done that. Yet.
…is a pretty good opening paragraph to Taking Lance and had me involved from the beginning. It's also pretty indicative of what the book is about.
Only Candi Kay would know, but Taking Lance almost read like a true story because the situations, emotions, and behaviors of the characters were so raw a realistic. This one is definitely for those who like taboo because between the generational, pseudo-incest, homosexual, and group sex it broke all sorts of societal "norms." And for those who read my blog, you know I love my taboo! Taking Lance is slightly longer than other erotica, and so you have plenty of time to enjoy what this story has to offer.
That was different. Too bad that the women, gay or bi men marry are most of the time portraied as bitches. Well in this case it worked for the drama, but usually (or in real life) it is usually the circumstances that make people make the wrong decisions. Anyway, the sex is hot, the revenge served cold and I am looking forward to reading the next installment.
It was a good story but I couldn't get into it. I didn't care that he had to marry a woman to get his inheritance. I would've said f.u. to dad and lived as I pleased. I kinda liked Lance, but that was all. And the twist with the wife/ex-wife...meh!
